Wee JRT mix Spike is looking for a very special home as his mummy has unexpectedly passed away last week. He is temporarily with neighbours but they can't keep indefinitely. He may be put to sleep if a new home isn't found.

He is an older gent around 15 years old and is still pretty energetic and spritely despite his years. Spike does have some arthritis and allergies and is on some medication for this which I believe is around £100 a month🥺

We are looking to see if there's anyone interested in adopting this wee soul or becoming a forever foster.

Spike is dog friendly and still playful with other dogs so could live with another dog although I think a puppy would be too much.

He hasn't been around children and as he can be grumpy if disturbed when napping (like most oldies) he is probably best in a child free home. Older children/teens may be considered.

💔 LENA BIRDIE 💔

Yesterday suddenly and unexpectedly one of our wonderful fosters passed away. We are so shocked and saddened to hear this news. Unfortunately our dog Lena was taken by the Police and is currently in Easterhouse kennels.

We urgently need a foster for her as she will be absolutely traumatised and needs a home environment.

Lena is a timid sensitive dog but she warms up to people if given a calm quiet environment.

She is best in a home with females as scared of some men. Best without children, possibly a calm older teen would be ok.

Lena is fine with another calm friendly dog that won't get in her space too much or she could be an only dog with an experienced foster.

Do we have anyone available in Peterhead or nearby in Aberdeen area who could foster el Chappo for a few days so his foster mum can go away for her Birthday.

It would be Friday 26th July to Monday 29th July. Chappo is a well behaved dog who is dog friendly and fine around other dogs.

Chappo is cat friendly as currently in foster with a cat and doesn't bother . He's child friendly and can live with dog savvy kids 6+.

He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Chappo does suffer from skin infections due to allergies so is often on steroids and special diet. Anything he requires will be provided.

Her owner is having to move and can't take her with her. She's a very friendly girl, loves people and good with other dogs in general and outside.

However, Tessy is best as an only dog in the home as she can be domineering to some dogs and also aggressive around food.

Gorgeous 2 year old fraggle Stanley is looking for a foster or foster with view to adopt.

Stanley has come on really well while in foster and is much less reactive. He happily wears his muzzle when out and about.

He is wary of children so looking for a child free home with Shepherd/ Mio experience and ideally at least one other friendly active neutered dog.

Stanley is due to be neutered and get his boosters so a foster who can drive would be beneficial. He is currently a patient with vets in Motherwell but we could register elsewhere.

Stanley does have a bite history of one incident a year ago with when he escaped and entered a neighbours garden and no other incidents until recently when he bit fosters new partner. This was not an intentional bite from my understanding of the situation. More information can be provided if interested in fostering.

Khali went on foster trial and it isn't going to work out as she's too dog reactive in the garden when the neighbours dog is also out.

Her original fosters would happily take her back but leave for their holiday this weekend 😢

I've already tried kennels and they are fully booked for summer.

IS THERE A BULL BREED EXPERIENCED FOSTER WITH NO OTHER DOG OR CAT THAT CAN TEMP FOSTER KHALI? PREFERRABLY CHILD FREE OR CALM 12+

Khali is currently in Paisley and is lead and muzzle trained, vaccinated, microchipped & spayed.

She's a cuddle bug and loves her toys and people and is great most of the time but reactive to other dogs so needs a garden to chill in and a foster that is happy to work with a behaviourist and happy to limit walks just now. Ideally a garden with direct access and no dogs either side or ability to arrange something with neighbours so the dogs aren't out at the same time.

Callie is a medium to large sized mixed breed girl around 4 years old. She's been in foster coming up 2 years and is invisible when posted. She is still looking for her forever home.🥺

She has come on so well in foster and overcome much of her reactivity to visitors and strangers. She uses her crate as her safe space when visitors come. Callie can be wary of some male visitors.

Callie is dog friendly and likes to play with other dogs so could potentially live with another friendly dog or be on her own getting all the attention. She isn’t cat tested and has only seen children outside so we don't know how she is with children so I'd say calm dog savvy teens should be ok.

Callie is spayed, vaccinated, toilet trained, crate trained, lead trained and has been working on her off lead skills in enclosed areas.

Her ideal home would be a single person or couple with an active lifestyle and another dog. Callie can be quite nosy and bark at the window so a quiet area/ street is preferable.

When I first started helping dogs and sponsoring them it was on my Europaws Rescue Group. It has been dormant for 2 years and we've decided to change it's name and focus on fundraising for our dogs there. Over to you Julz with your ideas...

I have some ideas of what we can do to try and raise funds to help cover as much of EuroPaws bills as possible.

Right now I am trying to crochet items I know I can do quickly (I am in no way a professional, but also these items don’t fall apart😉)

I’m thinking of a weekly or bi weekly auction on EuroPaws Rescue Group where I am an admin.

If anyone can do crafty things that would auction well, or donate an item it would be gratefully received.

I’d also like to do some Car Boot sales, maybe with some home baking - who doesn’t love a homemade scone?

Any ideas/suggestions also gratefully received

❤️❤️ ROSIE ❤️❤️

After 2 years in kennels and a year in foster ROSIE POSIE is a failed foster and staying forever with her foster family who will adopt her.

Rosie has fitted in so well and after a year of hard work and dedication from her wonderful fosters Geraldine and Ralph she has rebuilt her trust and confidence. For a dog that wasn't dog friendly she now has a dog pack and a puppy as a best friend.

Well done Rosie you are one lucky girl! She's loving life in the wilds of somerset and is now an avid digger of holes 🤣

Just wanted to post a BIG THANK YOU to one of our lovely followers who ran 15k to raise funds for Europaws Rescue. Well done Emily Donaldson for raising over £200 for our dogs.

We've used that £200 and GoFundMe Donations to pay Daisy's kennel bill so she's safe for another month.

The PayPal Donations have nearly covered Mya kennel bill so I will top that off and send away.

This has made a huge difference and taken pressure off me. ❤️

I'M FEELING SO SAD FOR THE DOGS JUST NOW AND TRYING HARD TO KEEP THINGS TICKING OVER FOR THEM.

There's 24 dog under Europaws Rescue care right now and they need me as they need vet treatment and kennel bills paid.

I feel exhausted and empty and not sure how much I've got left to give. Everyday theres more dogs in need that I can't help as there's no funds and no homes and people sitting slagging me off from their armchair.

Well I'm doing my absolute best with limited resources and my own funds. All I ask is if you can see the posts can you share please and help the dogs that need foster homes find a foster 🙏

Lovely little Lena (was Birdie) is looking for a foster with view to adopt.

She's currently in Edinburgh and completed her assessment with a behaviourist and has passed with flying colours!

Lena has shown no aggression whatsoever and is just a bit of a timid dog who was needing to find some confidence in the world around her.

She's happy to be around other calm friendly dogs and enjoys going short walks now. She would be suited to a quiet location without too much traffic and access to a secure garden.

Lena has previously lived with children but I think as shes anxious she may prefer a home without young ones. I'd say adult only or a savvy calm teen may be fine.

Lena is 4 years old, spayed and recently had her booster vaccines. She's also crate, toilet & lead trained.

Thistle is a 2 year old mixed terrier in foster in Scotland. He is urgently needing a temporary foster for around 6 weeks as his foster has broken her shoulder.

He is an anxious dog and is in need of an experienced foster who is able to cope with fear aggression. Thistle will bite if he feels threatened or if he's told to get off bed and sofa so he's no longer allowed on furniture and has his own bed.

He doesn't like people touching his collar and lead and only let's his foster do this. A new foster will need access to a secure back garden as walks will be an issue until he trusts you enough to accept touching his lead.

He's dog friendly and would benefit from a dog pal if possible. No children as he is too unpredictable and anxious.

Absolutely beautiful Khali is looking for her forever home. Khali is a 2 year old Staffie cross currently in foster in Paisley and would be staying permanently if she got along with their visiting dog.

Khali used to live with other dogs but is now unable to live with other dogs and must be an only pet. She can be reactive outside to dogs and we are seeking some advice from a behaviourist.

She's previously lived with children and been around a fosters visiting children so could potentially live with savvy calm children over 12.

Khali is vaccinated, spayed, lead trained, toilet trained. She requires a strong active person to walk her and who can give her plenty of exercise.

She does love a cuddle on the sofa and to play in the garden or indoors with her toys.

I thought I would share our fundraiser post again as it's been dormant for a few months. I don't like asking continuously for help like most rescues but things are now critical.

The monthly kennel bills are crippling and I can't cover them any more so I'm very concerned for the dogs in kennels futures.

There's around 10 dogs needing surgery before they can be adopted and not enough funds to cover this as about £4000 needed to cover 8 neuters, a dental and a tail amputation. I've covered a few surgeries already but can't cover everything.

Unfortunately the cost of rescuing Chappo, Paris & Woody and a UK surrender set me back an eye watering £7k so I'm out of funds and the rescue is in danger of having to close.

Do any of our followers run licenced kennels and have space for some dogs, paid ofcourse.

We have dogs that will be losing their foster places over the next few days and weeks and with summer holidays coming I can't get foster cover or kennel space. I am in a blind panic here as dogs will have no where to go! PREFERRABLY CENTRAL SCOTLAND

‼️BIRDIE UPDATE‼️

Birdie is safe, phew

The behaviourist met her yesterday for an assessment and has taken her, she is a very scared girl but eating, pooing and actually peed in behaviourist bathroom while she was in there. This just shows how scared she just now.

She has been for a quiet walk with the behaviourist other rescue dogs and is decompressing.

However, we need two things:

raising money to keep her on schedule with vaccination, they have had to start again, so will be due another soon.
Food to feed her for her time short term, flee and worming, just the basic while she is really to be rehomed but it's going to take time.

Secondly we need a very relax foster even if it's to cover the time the behaviourist on holiday for 1.5 weeks in July as kennels would terrify Birdie.

Bridie needs a quiet home where she can relax and trust.
Quiet location and good secure garden. She is a flight risk, so needs someone who understands this. Preferably no children just until she is assessed more and not busy household with people coming and going.
Edinburgh based preferably and this girl needs to trust people.

Please spare anything at all to help this girl find her full potential.
