Frosty paws.
Fin’s paws need extra TLC. His hip dysplasia can make his knuckles drag, skinning them. We have a home treatment and I plan ahead for soft grassy walks.

The gritters will be out tonight, the road salt can be harsh on paws. Wash paws in warm water, maybe add a cap full of apple cider vinegar. Dry and your done.

I’m sharing for interest a slo mo Finley walking with hip dysplasia. His left hip is worse than his right. Interesting to see how the his back paws, take a shorter step forward, changing the natural sway.

I’m keeping him comfortsble vets help and complimentary therapy.

He is looking mighty fine today after his visit to the groomers, Penny at Eva’s groom

Photo from our on lead walk on Saturday. It was bonfire night and the walk was planned to keep their minds calm. I encouraged a allowing a sniffing and investigating. Preperation, and planning and keeping them calm made for a comfortable snug evening.

Well done team.

Next weekend trip to groomers
