What a fab first social walk, despite the weather! All the dogs did so well, and it had such a good turnout.

This was an on lead session to help dogs relax and enjoy socialising in a controlled environment.

It was nice to see some new faces, and old ones too! Looking forward to seeing them all again.

nearly got blown away, so he needed to pop in to the coffee shop for a pup cup, also to show off his new and lead. He got so many compliments and such a comfy harness.

We hope to make this a regular event. Everyone is welcome. If your dog has any behavioural 'spiciness', give us a heads up, and we'll accommodate.

Hey Team,

Thank you so much for being so supportive. It marks 1 year since I've been running Woolley's Woofers full time since leaving the largest dog charity.

With the amazing support behind me, I am looking forward to be able to share some exciting new ventures in 2025 onwards!

Sea Ya soon!

Last Weekend was able to get away with some of our friends for a lovely time at the beach! We were able to explore North Devon beaches (Woolacombe Beach and Saunton Sands) whilst staying near Ilfracombe.

Lancelot decided he would become more of a water dog than expected and Merlin ... well he was happy to wade up to his belly 😂

What a beautiful pair!

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to go and see the boy on the left (called Dowser) for the second time.

He is an adorable, nervous rescue, who needed some guidance around meeting people in general. The family had made huge progress between the first session and this session.

How good is life when you have this cutie? I was fortunate to look after this handsome chap and his friends for the weekend!!

Whilst on house sits, we look after all kinds of pets:
-🐕
-🐈
-🐇
-🐓
- and other small animals including reptiles and fish

Having experience working with a large array of animals in previous roles and in life in general. We are happy to work with any of your pets to look after them whilst you enjoy your time away!

Recently, we have been asked a lot about how to exercise the dogs during this weather.

When the weather is 19°C or above, it has the potential to cause heat exhaustion and stroke.

So with our dogs, we have been:
Spending time in the shade Going swimming at a Dog Pool Walking later or earlier Using lots of sniffing on walks to minimise physical exertion

We have also been providing: Extra water Cooling enrichment Frozen or chilled snacks Fans

Another one people tend to miss out, which is a great way to also bond with your dog is grooming .

Success Story!

Rosa is a 10 month old Labradoodle who is a sweet girl but started life with a lot of worries. We have been working on building her confidence and some of her life skills out and about!

She previously was nervous of lots of environmental factors including dogs. As you can see she's been making new dog friends.

Her family have been amazing for keeping up with her training!!
