Handsome little Raife began his final stages of his training last month, after being placed with the family he will be supporting as an autism assistance dog. Good luck Raife!

Dogs are part of the family and join in on our days out too! This was a big ask for a dog to be comfortable in the middle of London. It was loud, crowded and full of brand new stuff.. chilli loved it!!

Congratulations Jai Jai and all that played their part in getting him this far! 🥰

Congratulations Jai Jai and all that played their part in getting him this far! 🥰

Jai Jayy is getting that after successfully completing all his training and becoming a fully qualified autism assistance support dog yesterday.

Just fantastic to be part of producing dogs like these to change someone’s life for the better

This we wanted to celebrate how our wonderful autism assistance dogs support neurodiverse children. For children like Jacob an autism assistance dog will be trained specifically to meet their needs to help them feel safe and calm. For him, when a day at school has been overwhelming, Jai-Jayy has been trained to lie nearby or on him to act as his safe place and help him decompress from a stressful day.

Good luck Raife! Love getting updates on these super dogs! 🥰

Raife is looking forward to next year when he will complete his training as an autism assistance dog and be placed with the family he will support.

As some may know my job is a registered mental health nurse in a dementia home. I’m very lucky to be able to bring my dogs to work which is hugely beneficial for our residents.

We would be most greatful for you to click on the Wentworth vote button! It would be great to have this for Christmas for our residents!

1 in 3 support dogs simply would not exist with out the kindness of donations left to our charity in Wills. They are vital to our work for the families we serve and for us to able to train more dogs like lovely Jai Jayy. Please learn more about how to leave a donation in your will and our free will writing service at www.supportdogs.org.uk/legacy

This week we have said good bye to Ice our Male GSD who’s top job was looking after our dogs. He will carry on to hopefully fulfill a working role with a returning dog handler with bags of experience.

Ice took an instant like to his new handler from day one- we will miss him but wish him all the best and hope to have some exciting updates!

One of a set of 4 of our puppies that have gone to support dogs U.K. in advanced training to become a life changing dog for someone 🥰🥰

The beautiful Candhu is busy cramming in some extra lockdown learning as he aims to make it through to the next stage of his support dog training. He is currently having lots of play sessions with young children, to get him more used to their sometimes excited, lively and unpredictable interest in him, that can be all be part of a busy support dogs day.

Good luck Candhu and thank you to our wonderful friends at Canon Medical Systems Corporation for their brilliant support and sponsorship of him.

From day one to leaving- a snippet of the fun I have had over the past 9 weeks. They have been an absolute joy and I am most greatful to Eric for allowing me to use Paxx and meeting the most fantastic owners- I can’t wait to see these guys grow up! 🥰🥰
