Oh I’m glad it’s Friday!
thank you to all of you who have rearranged appointments this week while Remy has been poorly, thankfully he is feeling a lot better and will hopefully be back to his normal bouncy self in a few days.
Trying to keep his brain happy while keeping his body resting is proving to be challenging however our canine fitness and conditioning work is helping, lots of concentration needed but means he can do something without getting over excited and over doing things.
How do you keep your dogs occupied while they aren’t allowed out to run?
Packing orders ready for shipping next week!
I am thrilled with the response to the diaries, we only launched a week ago and now they are off all over the world!
More than anything I hope that they help dog owners to manage their dogs the best they can.
Some exciting projects in the pipeline including The Equine Health Diary and also something very special for puppies!
Happiness is... a Labrador snorkelling for stones in a muddy puddle. Volume up for bubble noises!

Beautiful golden girl! Sofie was a star for her session this morning, and her mum made a fab video of her enjoying her treatment! ❤️
Front paw targeting
🐾 Canine Exercise - Front paw targeting 🐾
This exercise is a good starting point for other conditioning exercises that you can do with your dog. You simply ask your dog to put his front paws on the object or surface you are using.
It’s brilliant for building core strength and you can adapt it in so many different ways. Core strength is really important for balance and agility.
In this video I am using a Theraband pad as it’s fairly stable but using wobble board/discs and other less stable surfaces such as cushions increases the difficulty. You can ask your dog for different behaviours such as sit and down while they have their paws on the target meaning they have to really use their core and balance themselves.
Always speak to a veterinary professional before starting these exercises. You should always begin these exercises at the easiest level, a mat on the floor is a great starting point especially for puppies!
Take a picture or a video if you decide to have a go, make sure you tag us or post below!

Little massage and stretch for Aero this morning as he was carrying some tension over his thoracic and lumbar region of his back. At the start of the video I am using the scratch reflex to ask him to engage his core and lift up through his back, he likes doing this one!
Unfortunately I missed it on camera but the first stretch he really lifted and then also really stretched out his hind legs after, so lovely to see them have such a big stretch under their own steam.
A Happy Easter announcement from Remy
Hope everyone manages to have a lovely weekend despite the circumstances!
