Nearly ready to launch our brand new website. It's been in the making for some time, wanted to get it just right, that and doing around the busy schedule I have thanks to you guys 😊 it looks better on a laptop then mobile form but im happy with it. Its just getting the once over and should be launching it tomorrow night so stay tuned.

Look at this boy, such a happy doggie. Had him ignoring bikes, scooters and ppl in no time. All through positive play and the right mentality from the owner.
We love to see dogs and owners happy and relaxed.
He even went up to my volunteer cassie (in the pic) to play ball, normally shy around strangers but we managed to unlock him by playing to hes strengths!

So true, iv had this with a few customers, iv explained you have to read the whole body, a growl, bark it's communication until other signs are shown. It's like a waggling tail doesn't mean happy, it may mean nervous, anxious etc, you have to take in all the behaviour to truly understand your dogs behaviour.
That's why we have diplomas in K9 phycology and behaviour, and that's why we are so good at reading K9 behaviour to make the right decisions for your dog. We advocate for your dog to be able to self correct, to be able to make the right decisions without nothing more then eye contact with your dog, trust and respect 🙏 🫡

🐾 Here at SOS K9 training we specialise in Alpha training aka leadership training.🐾
We help you best understand your dog, we play to their strengths. We are here to make owners into mini trainers for their K9 family members 🐕
Most of our cases that come to us were others fail, seem to be reactive and aggressive behaviour. We have a great imprint on these dogs due to our personal extensive experience and training with dogs just like this for years.
We are science trained informed, the difference between informed based and science based is simple, science based is a bunch of certain methods, a 1 size fits all techniques, and they only believe in that style of training and nothing else.( which if you know, you know much the science based training was based on surveys and poorly set up exercises).
Science informed means we take it all in, read it all, study it all and then throw out the stuff that we know doesn't work and use the good science that is left, but due to the way I have trained means I have loads of methods and techniques on my toolbelt to handle any situation, from old to new age.

What a great weekend at the clifftop festival, now it's back to the grind, we have spaces available for sessions this week if anyone needs. We have a workshop for loose lead work and recall. We have a walk in the wild coming up so give us a shout to get involved.

SOS K9 Training is here at the infamous Gorleston Clifftop Festival today only.
We have tombola a £1 a go with fabulous prizes to win.
We have guess the name of the husky to win it, £1 per go.
We have guess the amount of treats in a jar to win a 121 session, a £2 per go.
We have our keads at £10 per head and our squeakers at £2 each while stocks last.

Big shout out to our fans, customers and supporters. You all share like and recommend us every chance you get, we even had a lovely customer donate loads to a raffle for us and Norfolk and Suffolk. Honestly the support and love we get from you guys, appreciate you all giving us a chance to make a difference.

Too many people out lately, off lead, absolutely no recall 🤔, invading other dogs space, even getting aggressive 😳. When this happens we end up with 2 reactive dogs, don't be that person, if you want your dog off lead then use a LONG LEAD. You can get one up to 50m so no excuses. Then you can teach and test your dogs recall in a high fixation state. Do not let them off lead unless they are great or no one is around! Had ppl lately straight in the park and clip lead off and dogs are gone, absolutely no control. It's highly embarrassing to see ppl do this, you don't own the park and there are laws! You'd be the 1st to moan if my bully did this to your dog!
Remember stand up for your dog, do what it takes to get there dog away, and at all cost have your dogs back.

Very helpful tips

With children and pets spending more time together over the summer holidays, it's super important to watch dogs closely and listen to their body language ⚠️

Dogs' stress signals often get misunderstood or missed, with some owners not realising their dog is unhappy until they growl, snap or even bite.

The canine ladder of communication is a useful guide, showing the different signals dogs show through their body language to communicate. As a dog gets more upset, their body language may change according to the steps on the ladder 🚦

It’s important to note that all dogs are different - not every dog will show every behaviour on the ladder and might not follow the same order.

Our fundraising team were out and about again today 👏🏼 along with SOS K9 Training on hand with any training advice.
A successful day was had at Hemsby Family fun day for people to meet our team, play the Tombola and Hook a 🦆 duck was a sell out!
The team will be getting ready for the big event Gorleston Clifftop Festival next weekend.
Come and see us for more Hook a duck, sweetie cones, doggy biscuit cones and we have a doggy raffle 🦴 with some amazing prizes.
