Hi everyone, I would just like to immediately address this review that has been made this morning. I had this dog come to me this morning for the first time. I hadn’t been informed of any behavioural issues or a reason for changing groomer. From the moment that she gave him over he was growling however I assumed that he was just a moody shihtzu.

Unfortunately I got him in the salon and immediately he was very reactive. I tried to make him feel at ease however he was stressed and bit me around 5 times then a final time where he attacked me and latched onto my wrist. After this I messaged the owner to pick him up as I couldn’t complete his groom for the safety of myself and the dog and to prevent any further stress to the dog. I also have a behavioural policy which is attached below.
He was in my salon a total of around 25 minutes.

One of the photos she has included was of a scab/wart/bite that had already been there before I started grooming him. This dog is 11 years old and older dogs often have warts, lumps and bumps. The other photo was either also a wart or small nick that could have happened on his leg as I was trying to groom him when he went for me. I work with sharp blades and scissors therefore when a reactive dog comes in this can happen although I try my very best to avoid it.

The client messaged me angry that I didn’t get to finish his groom and wanted a refund however I had to terminate the groom for the safety of both me and the dog. I didn’t want him to get any more stressed than he already was so I had to stop for his own good. Instead of responding to the rest of my messages where I was professionally explaining everything in full, she had decided to make this post.

As for not being able to “walk or drink” he walked out of the salon just fine and this wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the messages to me. If there is anything wrong with the dog it isn’t my doing, as I said I was only with him for 25 minutes.

I’d also like to mention that on the pick up it was stated that they had tried to groom the dog in lockdown themselves and he was reactive.

This is the first negative review I’ve had in 2 and a half years of grooming and although i am completely open to criticism this is slander and I can’t explain how much this has very deeply upset me as I am being accused of doing this to harm a dog which I would never even dream of doing. I take my job very seriously especially when it comes to caring for your pets and making sure that they are stress free in the salon.

Hiya everyone, I’ve put this off for quite a while again but with the rising costs I will be increasing the prices of certain grooms from Monday 13th May.
I’ve now been working in my shed for a whole year 🎉 🥳 but the costs of equipment and utilities keep rising therefore this has left me no choice unfortunately!!

Some won’t change however full grooms for cockapoos and labradoodles will go from £35 to from £38 and shihtzus/lhasa apsos from £32 to £35
All spaniels will now start at £35
If you would like to know more information on pricing for your groom or if you have any issues or questions please give me a message and I’ll be happy to help. I really hope this is okay for everyone and you can understand. Thank you all 🫶

Hi everyone please read!!!!

I’ve put this off for a long time but due to having 4 no shows already this week and it’s only Wednesday I will now be taking deposits for every appointment I book in from now on as I’ve lost out on a chunk of my wage, this is my full time job and my only form of income so when this happens and people don’t pay the fee it affects me a lot so I have no other choice than to implement non refundable deposits so that I am covered for any missed appointments. If you have to reschedule your appointment please give Atleast 24 hours notice so that I have time to fill your slot, your deposit will still be valid for your rescheduled date.
Anyone that doesn’t pay the no show fee won’t be booked back in.

Hello everyone!!!!

I hope you’ve all had a fab bank holiday 😊
Just a notice to let you all know that I will be off work from 20th September - 2nd October therefore September appointments are currently limited, if you are wanting an appointment toward the end of the month make sure to book in as soon as possible as I can’t guarantee I will have last minute spaces this month.

Another more exciting note….my December diary is currently open for Christmas so if you’d like to book in early to get your pups ready for Santa just drop me a message, my last day of working will be the 21st 🎅
