Ever since I lost Frankie, I felt like there wasn't a lot of support out there for people who have lost a pet. Especially for people who's pets are a huge part of the family like my boys were! It can be a super lonely place when people just don't understand the pain you are going through ๐Ÿ’”

I'd love to help other people who are struggling with pet loss โค๏ธ๐Ÿซถ

I can't believe the weekend that I close my business, I had to say goodbye to my best friend ๐Ÿ˜ช We were so close to that Europe trip Alf! ๐Ÿ’”

I told him that he's going on a nice trip to Spain in the sky though and that his brother Frankie will be waiting on him. I also told him that Frank's a good boy in heaven and won't annoy him โค๏ธ

Myself and Alfie would like to introduce his new baby brother Jorgi ๐Ÿ˜

After hearing Jorgi was looking for a new home, I initially said that I was tempted but it wasn't the right time for me! Honestly, after losing my Frankie.....I don't think there will ever be the "right time".

Anyway we went to visit Jorgi yesterday and as soon as they brought him out, I was like I want him ๐Ÿคฃโค๏ธ He is very shy but also seems like he will be a wee raj once he comes out his shell ๐Ÿคฃ

So welcome to the family Jorgi!

Jorgi's first time on a paddle board ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ I have been trying to get him used to the sea by throwing stones in and him getting his paws wet. And then today, I got him on the board with some treats, gave him lots of praise, and then I walked out into the water and continued the training. He was doing really well, so I sat on the board with him, and he had a little float around. I'm surprised how well he took to it ๐Ÿ’ช He is a happy wee soul โค๏ธ #rescuedog #adventuredog #paddleboardingdog #vanlifeeurope #pug

It's all fun and games until your van breaks down ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I am quite a positive person, but after the second breakdown, I'm not going to lie. I had a little cry to myself ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ If I was travelling alone, it would be so much easier, but travelling with pets makes it a little more stressful in these situations! Watching the guy put my van on the tiny pickup truck was actually terrifying! All I could think about was my van falling off ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ My top tips would be: โ–ช๏ธŽBuy the breakdown cover for UK & Europe (Yes, it's pricey, but it's so worth it) โ–ช๏ธŽHave a crate handy to keep your animals secure (Mechanics etc will open your doors multiple times ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ) โ–ช๏ธŽHave a buggy if you have cats, then you can take them out for the day while they look at the van! โ–ช๏ธŽHave funds in place to book a hotel if needed (Luckily, we were allowed to stay in the yard overnight) We finally got the van fixed yesterday and continued our travels ๐Ÿš #solovanlife #travellingwithpets #petseurope #petpassporteurope
