🐾❤️💷 Hi everyone,
Just a note for grooms from the 1st February.

The price of everything I use to groom has gone up massively and the utilities still haven’t reduced much. I sent equipment away for servicing at the beginning of this week and the price has almost doubled compared to what I paid last January.
From 1st Feb there will be a price increase on all grooms.. The increase will not be a huge it’ll be between £3-£5. I will let you know your new price when booking in or when confirming appointments after 1st February

So this little lady has been through the mill recently. She’s had some serious operations and treatments. She’s about to undergo some more treatment and I wanted to wish her and her family well and sending all positive vibes and love to them! Milly and myself have a fab relationship! She makes me laugh every time I groom her. She’s so affectionate and shows me how much she enjoys her pamper sessions. I really do get attached to all your furbabies!

⛑️🐾The dreaded grass seed/ foxtail season is upon us. I’ve already removed a few from toes that had just entered the dogs toes! Please check your dogs over thoroughly after walks and playing outside. These horrid things can be so dangerous.⚠️ ❗️ please give the video below a watch.

First aid ⛑️ 🐾
Today myself and some other Wirral groomers attended a canine first aid course. This gave us a chance to renew our qualification and make sure our training is upto date. Thanks to my clients who were booked in today that jiggled around for me to attend!

At 3pm today a emergency test alarm will sound on all phones across the UK

Pets may become distressed by this sound, not just dogs.

If your pets are noise sensitive then you can switch your phone off or put your phones locked in your car out of earshot of the dog/hamster/cat/Orca 🤭

This alert will still sound even if your phone is on silent 🔕

Great weekend spent at Crufts! Plenty of purchases for the salon! The atmosphere is electric in Birmingham! Alex loved it as always! He’s like his mum and adores all the dogs. Looking forward to a busy week in the salon this week! 💚🐾💗

Please read 💚💛 and help if you can!

Imagine being 16, just finished your GCSE’s and you’re given the opportunity to go across the world for 4 weeks and make a huge difference in so many lives. To be able to help build schools for unfortunate communities, build green houses so that these communities can learn to become self sufficient, help to rebuild the Amazon Rainforest by planting more trees. Having a input like that as such a young person will surely help them grow into compassionate adults, and we all know the world needs more of them!!
My son, Alex, has been invited by Camp International to do exactly this. This isn’t a holiday, he’s going to have to work hard and go through a lot mentally and physically to complete this adventure of a lifetime. If you know Alex you know he’s not scared of a challenge and puts is heart and soul into everything he does, he never does things by halves. He came out of the womb busy. From playing football, being in scouts from the minute he could shake a stick, now in cadets and even returning back to scouts to help give those little ones the same chances he had. He’s been a very expensive child to have😂😂 but all this has moulded him into being the caring young person he is. He loves a challenge and if that challenge can make a difference in someone else’s life, this is where his soul sings! But the hard work doesn’t start in 2024, it starts right now………..
This is where I am asking for your help in any way you can, to ask anyone you can to help how they can too. We can’t all go to Peru but we can all have an input to help make a difference. We need to do some serious fundraising for the trip.

How can you help…….

Firstly if you shop online and use any of the shops in the link please shop via this as they will receive a small donation. If your going to shop anyway might as well get those big companies to put their hand in their pockets too eh!!

If any businesses can help in any way please send me a message. Could possibly do some raffles, spot the ball, maybe a little lottery. We would be so grateful if you can get involved. As a well know supermarket says ‘Every little helps’ and this couldn’t be more true right now.

🎅🏼 Scrooge Alert 🚨

It’s that time of year when all the festive, brightly coloured, enticing, dyed dog chews are appearing in pets shops and supermarkets across the country trying to get you to add them to your basket.

So that means it’s also the time of year for us to remind you all that there is nothing at all raw about ‘rawhide’.

Rawhide is about as processed as it can get and not only are all the chemicals really, really bad for your dog, these lethal ‘treats’ are also a very real choking hazard. If you’ve ever fed your dogs a rawhide treat, you’ll have noticed how soft and slippery they get, they are impossible to remove from a choking dogs throat.

Please don’t be tempted to give your dogs rawhide this Christmas and if any well-meaning relatives or friends buy them for your furry friends as treats, just accept politely and pop it in the bin.

We love all of your dogs and its just not worth the risk
