Stitch is 15years old today!!! 🐾
Raw liver for breakfast for my best boy! ❤️ My love for this dog is beyond anything I can express! We are so lucky to still have him and I am so grateful to this beautiful boy who inspired me to be a dog groomer! A one in a million dog! ❤️🐾 Loved by so many! X

Hello everyone, this is my 2024 price list which is for any NEW dogs that I take on from this year. As you all know I have been desperately trying to bring my prices in line with local groomers for a while now, as I have been undercutting myself for far too long! Freshly qualified groomers with little experience are charging more than me and have been for years and to be quite frank, I can no longer afford to work at those prices. All existing grooms will be increased by £5 (as previously stated).

I am so very grateful for all my faithful customers and I thank you all for your continued support. ❤️

I want to let al my wonderful customers know that I did it. I passed my final exam and I am very proud to be an International Certified Master Groomer 🎉😀 🐩 🐕 ❤️

Big thanks to Michelle Coleman for being brave and allowing me to transform her beautiful Cockerpoo Pippa into a Bedlington Terrier for my final masters practical 😀
So happy to say I passed both written and practical 😀

I’m on the look out for a xbreed to use at a competition in October. This will also be one of my masters modules.
The ones on my books are either too old, too young or do not have the right temperament or coat type.
I love all the xbreeds I groom and they are all unique in their own way but I have to have the right dog for a competition.

Ideally between the age of 1-7yrs, good with dogs and people and have a coat in good condition. Any colour, any size is fine.
I will also need to take the dog on a road trip to Coventry and owner must be happy to have a complete restyle.
Maintenance grooms between now and then will be heavily discounted and the competition groom will be free.
If anyone can help, please send me photos and details of dog. Thank you x
Edit: Ideal coat types would be Poodle mixes, Bichon mixes anything with a wave or a curl 🙏🏻

Had a great educational day last Sunday with the brilliant Mathew Spry. Mathew is a poodle specialist from Wales. 🤩
I had the best day learning new techniques and I am so in love with Wales, can’t wait to go back ❤️

I am looking for a dog on the weekend of 12th/13th August to take to premier groom for a competition. Preferably a Standard or Miniature Poodle in a German trim or MCC but not essential. Dogs coat must be in tip top condition and of reasonable length to show a difference in before and after. Groom would be free and we can come to some arrangement for some discounted maintenance baths between now and then. If anyone thinks they may be able to help, please inbox me with photos and a contact telephone number. Thank you 🙂

Im very pleased with the new cabinets in the parlour (thanks to Jason), with new comfy anti fatigue mats for the dogs to rest on while they wait for their groom ❤️
It’s looking all lovely and streamline now 😀 It’s only taken us 8 years to get the cupboards
that I’ve always planned to have out there but it’s finally complete and I love it! 😂 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
It now needs painting again 😅 but that can wait for now!!

Another educational day! This time with a Scottish Terrier expert The great’ Angela Caley’ who has over 50 years of grooming experience!! Thank you to Jess (my niece) for loaning me the gorgeous George! ❤️

Spent the day with a Cocker Spaniel specialist. Had a fantastic day with Hannah Bowles from Pooches learning how to perfect my technique and how to enhance my groom.

These are not my words- But I saw this today and thought it pretty much somes it up!
I do not need recognition from my customers as this is my chosen profession and I love my job!
Sometimes a little understanding is all we need x

Dog Grooming is not an easy career choice 🐕

I would challenge anyone to try dog grooming for the day and not be physically and mentally exhausted.
Dog grooming requires alot of stamina, patience, skill and knowledge. Groomers need to know about all of the hundreds of recognised dog breeds and crossbreeds, breed styles, diseases, parasites, canine anatomy and conformation, hair structure and the skin, safe handling, dog behaviour the list goes on.
We are working with very sharp tools around sometimes very lively/fidgety dogs sometimes trying to avoid being bitten by aggressive dogs. Dealing with neglected matted dogs which can be totally soul destroying and very stressful for us and the dog.
We spend thousands of pounds each year on training, seminars and equipment often going without things ourselves to make sure the pooches have the best products used on them. .
We sacrifice our own health with the physical manual handling, lifting dogs bending and twisting each and every day.
Some people pass comments like "you just cut dogs hair" "ah you get to play with dogs all day" "how hard can it be?" I challenge anyone to try doing what we do just for one day, they will find its not as easy as it looks 😂 dog groomers are badass 💪💖🐕
