My beautiful boy Jim got pts earlier today. All very peaceful & although lots of tears, we knew it was time.
He would have been 16 on Aug 11th. Rescued when owner passed away 5 years ago. Jim (Jamie) had a new lease of life with us!

⚠️❄️ With a heavy heart I have decided to keep my van off the road until the weather improves.

Main roads may be ok but side roads & country lanes are not great, as well as getting on/off people’s driveways. I just can’t risk getting stuck somewhere or having a prang.

December is my busiest time so it’s not great timing. I want everyone’s dogs to look their best for Christmas!

I’m doing all I can to get back on the roads again as soon as the snow/ice clears - currently looks like this week is bad but better for next week - hopefully you can all understand.
I will contact you the day before your groom if this effects your appointment this week and am looking at rescheduling for the week after Boxing day to NY, if not sooner. I know its not ideal & I totally understand if anyone from this week wants to try & get in with a salon for their Xmas spruce!
So sorry 😔

Due to lack of confirmed bookings we still have 5 spaces available for Christmas stalls at this year’s Toys and Treats Event/Christmas Craft Fair.

Sunday 5th December 2021 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Danaher Animal Home, Thorley Farm, Hedingham Road, Wethersfield, CM7 4EQ

Tables dimensions are approx. 5ft x 2ft 3” and cost £5 each.

Stalls will be in our new spacious indoor area and should be set up and ready for 1:30pm.

Stalls will be allocated on a first come first served basis and closing date for applications is Monday 15th November 2021.

Hi everyone 👋🏼 I apologise in advance for the aggy post, which luckily only applies to the odd few..🙈🙄

PAYMENTS - Please ensure all bank transfer payments are made whilst i’m grooming your dog/before I leave/absolutely by the end of that day! I am having to chase a few clients that continue to pay me very late. Its a pain! I shouldn’t have to send daily payment reminder messages and either get no reply or receive responses like “I’ll do it later”!
I groom your dog - you pay me - simples! I’m SO busy & could do with out the extra chore of following up payments.
I will now introduce a £5 per day late payment fee to the few that do this, which i’m sure will work wonders!

CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULES - no problem! I understand urgent things crop up. Please be aware I do have a 24hr cancellation fee (full price unless I can fill the slot) and as I am fully booked its now unlikely I can fit you in before your next groom, so would be an idea to book elsewhere if your dog will get matted before our next slot.

NEW ADDITIONS - lots of lovely extra puppy brothers & sisters have been added to my current doggy families 🙂 Alas, I am now full to the brim! I’ve even had to get rid of some of the few newer customers I had taken on which is sad. Of course I will always try my best to accommodate..but there is only 1 of me.

PRE BOOKING YOUR GROOM - please do this! If for any reason we don’t do this after your groom..message me! No use messaging me the week before your dog should be due i’m afraid. As a rule i’m booked solid for 8+ weeks.

Kennel Cough is highly contagious amongst our dogs. Grooms must be rearranged so do let me know if this effects you 🐾

We are currently seeing a few cases of Kennel Cough, especially at our Stansted surgery.

If your pup is back to doggy day care, mingles regularly with other dogs, or is looking to go into kennels, it may be worth considering getting them vaccinated (most kennels won’t accept dogs without being vaccinated - check their requirements).
