Yesterday Jake and Milo attended The NFRS show in Meldreth. They were in a big pet class and although they didn't get placed I got some valuable feedback. I'm very proud of them.

Halcyon Harry x Halcyon Zinnia 5 days old.... I think I have black and agouti but I could change my mind as it took 8 weeks to work out what Zinnia was.

It is early days as yet but it looks like there are 4 boys and 6 girls in the litter. These will be pet quality rats only as they are unlikely to be to variety standard. The aim of this pairing was to breed for their personalities and health. They do need a Christmassy litter name.....any suggestions?

Today the wonderful Halcyon Zinnia (mink Berkshire) and Halcyon Harry (wheaten Burmese) became parents to healthy chunky beans....

I'm so pleased with how these baby girls have turned out.

They were in the hamster cage while I cleaned them out. The adults escaped as soon as I opened the door.
