Rogue jan/2024
Client update, Rogue is starting to look so much more relaxed now on her walk. Rogue has been constantly on alert when on her walks, barking at other dogs and people. It is my huge pleasure to share this progression were she is starting to look more relaxed and being able to see people and dogs without reacting and going about her own business. 🐾
Well done both of you 🙌
Christmas 2023
Finally getting ready for Christmas but are your dogs ready? Take the time to help them learn to relax around all the unusual object and the potential influx of visitors to your home.
Making sure they have a safe space of their own to go to, especially when you have visitors. Help them relax giving them items like kongs, snuffle or lick mats. One of my favourite things to keep my dogs busy is the JW holee-roller ball and stuffing it with a couple of cut trachea, this keeps my dogs brains busy whilst they figure out how to get them out of the ball and then they enjoy a good chew.
Agility 03/13/24
So proud of both me & Keeva and Vicky & Rocket from Toller Trails dog training. Both dogs were fantastic all day, ending with a lovely 2nd places in special mixed pairs!
Thank you to Calmer Hoopers & Agility Showsfor another brilliant day! 🙌
🙌Competition time 🐾 (closed)
Next month is Christmas, during this time of year lots of people get puppies and new dogs 🙈 which heartbreakingly some of them get given up.
I’m going to run a competition, which I hope will encourage, inspire and show you how fun training your dog can be. The winner will be drawn on the 20/12/23 5pm
To enter the competition:
🐾 Post a video 🎥 of your dog performing one of your favourite tricks and post it in the comments.
🐾You must be local or willing to travel to collect prize
The video with the most likes 👍 will win a selection of Christmas themed natural treats 🎅🏻🎄
Share this post so other can join in too 🙌
Good luck 🐾
Lovely client update, Teddy and Hector walk lovely together now and she looks so confident and relaxed 🙌 well done
Well that’s me done, I am now on holiday and I won’t be returning to work until 1/11/23. There will be delayed responses to messages during this time.
Other than that enjoy Aggie carving a pumpkin 🎃 happy hump day 🙌
Distance stay and release
Well done to narla’s owner for achieving a controlled stay at such a distance🙌
Narla was a nervous Cane Corso who wouldn’t walk past moving traffic. She has become a lovely family dog, can comfortably walk past and work near cars now. I love the updates her owner sends me of her progression 👏
Lovely loose lead video from a client. I love nothing more than to see my clients enjoying a relaxed walk with their dog 🙌
Lovely little pupdate with Buster who attends our group puppy classes. Glad to see Buster is giving his handler lovely focus, loose lead walking and is resisting to nip at their trousers whilst they walk now 🙌
Such a lovely boy can’t wait to see his progress after class again.
Took all the dogs out to the beach this evening after work as their little treat for national dog day, couldn’t resist a heel walking video with keeva while Aggie and Luna played with the kids in the sand. Even after a good brush I expect to find sand for about a week 😂
These two today 🥺 honestly made us all feel like we had crashed their date 😂
How is your dogs recall?
Some people have said it's non existent, it's good in the house and my dog has selective hearing or you might have a bit of a yo yo dog where they come, get their treat and run straight off again. My first question should be what value does your dog find in giving you their engagement when out?
Myself and Vicky from Toller Trails dog training will be doing some workshops, one of them being engagement and bond building. Keep your eyes peeled for dates and more information regarding other workshops 👀
Lovely update from a client 🙌 keep smashing it
It’s a slow road with theses guys but the results and hard work are always worth it, got to love a cane corso.
Well done everyone today in classes and sessions but a big well done to Ruby who is working on her reactivity 👏👏
FYI guys, your dogs are never too old to learn anything! Due to Luna’s new training please don’t feed her during sessions 😂
Some quick snippets from this weekends training, that I remembered to film 🙈
Busy Sunday covering flyball for Toller Trails dog training which was lovely and look forward to the next one 💪
Some place work today with keeva, hated having to take some days off due to illness can’t wait to get back to training with clients again 🙌
