I established Hooves Paws and More in 1999 and run the Normandy/Ash branch. We offer dog walking in our own secure farm fields in Normandy.

We are fully insured and offer dog walking, cat and small animal visits, equine and livestock care.

Back from adventures where we swapped small cats for big ones and tame dogs for wild ones!

Ali, Emma and Sue have been fantastic at taking on my wonderful dogs.

Hooves Paws and More Normandy 19/10/1999 to 15/08/2024.
A wonderful ‘almost’ 25 years of walking and talking with incredible dogs and owners. I have been so lucky.
Many dear friends made, so it’s really not goodbye.

Just a few highlights … there have been so many!

Time to say bye bye to my beloved ‘Betty’ van. I have the best cleaning assistants 😍.
She’s been an absolute Trojan over the past 12 years …. And will go on to do many more years I’m sure, once the gremlin in her gearbox is ‘removed’.
She will be going up for sale this weekend with a full years MOT, if anyone is interested please contact me. Signwriting and ‘eau de dog’ will be removed. Price will reflect the gearbox fault (which is fully rectifiable). She is a 2.5 T5 Transporter with 167k on the clock, automatic gearbox.

What a week of sunshine …. and snuffles … not all bad as the hammock has been a great recovery space! We did manage an early morning walk each day and embraced any form of shade, long grasses, stinky bogs (not that I could smell a thing!) and over grown paths.
Thank you everyone for wonderful flexibility ensuring that everybody stayed safe.
Cooler and less snots next week 🤞😊

After a fabulous weeks walking across the Devon Moors, we are back in the ‘office’ tomorrow, looking forward to seeing anyone not on holiday this week 😄

Great to get some sun on our backs …some even thought it was warm enough for a dip! Found the best woods this week for games of hide and seek.

There’s been a lot of ‘zoomies’ this week … and then there was me who didn’t have a ‘twin’ on this mornings walk!

Extra lovely to have all of our convalescing dogs back this week who aren’t allowed to return to zoomies yet, thankfully they were on the ‘chill out’ walks!

To all those who did a sunshine dance - dance harder! With a tree coming down and our fields are so sodden that we have moved some walks into the woods this week … the dogs didn’t complain, they thoroughly enjoyed embracing new sniffs 😀.

I think this sums up the week! Please can we all do a sunshine dance over the weekend? I’m out of dry coats and shoes… and believe me I have more than most people!
