RCM Wormley Ltd are hiring!

We have an open position for a full time service technician.

We are a family run and busy Garage/MoT station based in Wormley just outside Godalming Surrey and we pride ourselves on being honest, fair, and doing a good quality job.

The ideal applicant should have the following-

-Experience in the Motor Trade with Level 2 qualifications or equal to if you don’t have papers.
-Full driving licence.
-Able to carry out servicing and light repairs (tyres, brakes, suspension components) to a high standard

8am-5pm Mon-Fri
Every other Saturday 8-1
22.5 Days paid Holiday
No bank holidays
Closed though Christmas (paid)

Great rates of pay reflective of experience.

Please do not actively search for Sykes but if you are walking areas where he has been seen, be on the look out for him.

If seen please don’t call, chase or whistle instead lower body, avoid eye contact and use slow movements to retreat and report all sightings immediately to the numbers below by phone or text.

*Looking for a home*

Wellington the 2 year old Jack Russell is looking for a new home. He's a brilliant young dog with loads of potential and a great foundation of training.

Wellington is looking for an active home willing to put time into his on-going training. He likes to be busy and will quickly entertain himself if left to do so. He developed a habit of barking at birds, after intensive training this is much improved, but his training and management will need to be maintained. He can be easily excited and frustrated but he's learning to cope better with these emotions at home and on walks.

Wellington would suit a home as an only dog or with another calm dog, but will struggle to live with a very playful dog. He loves people but hasn't lived with children so older children with dog experience would be more suitable.

Overall he's a very friendly, well-mannered young dog, he still needs guidance and continued training as he matures more. Adolescent Dogs will provide ongoing support and Wellington's trainer will offer sessions (near Guildford, Surrey) to help with his transition into his new home. He's currently living in Kent so potential homes will need to be willing to travel to meet him.

Very sad news regarding a fellow dog walker over the weekend.
Until we know all the facts I can only reassure our clients as to how we manage our walks to help prevent things escalating out of our control.
Firstly we use private land 99% of the time. This means we don’t have random dogs coming into our space while we are walking. If we are near a public footpath and spot another dog we will move away so the other dog doesn’t feel the need to approach and our walking dogs are well controlled, so they don’t feel the need to say ‘hi’ to other passing dogs.
We take six dogs out at a time between two of us. So just in case of injury or illness one of us can get the other dogs safely back to the vans if needed while the other looks after the dog that needs help.
This tragedy has opened people’s eyes to what can happen with their dogs whilst with a dog walker and we would like to reassure you all that your dog’s are like family to us to and we are doing everything we can to look after your fluffy family members and keep everyone safe 🥰
