Well done to everyone that entered, we came as support for others again, but we can't wait to show meekho. Ban the bully breeds!! WHY?

Not once today did I see any aggressive dogs, any dogs that were out of control or vicious.
What I did see was a massive great community coming together, dog handlers loving what they do, happy in their jobs, everyone's having fun, communicating, friendly competitions, kids setting goals and achievements, all the effort that's put into this is insane, don't ban the bully, ban the bad owners...
Never a bad dog, only a bad owner!

After 3 year of working 24.7, day in day out, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, new year, birthdays, events, middle of the night appointments… I need a break. I need a break because I’m struggling. I’m struggling with every aspect of running a business and the high demand. And I’ll probably speak for most, if not ALL business owners here, but people really need to have some respect and realise people are not robots, we are human too & have life’s to be living. I don’t get 5 minutes of a day/night where people aren’t messaging & ringing me, 8am 2pm, 5am, 6am. It doesn’t stop, ever. From next week I will be taking Saturday off for a few weeks to spend time with my children, maybe have my nails done, attend dog shows, walk my dogs & have some head space or I’m going to end up in a seriously bad place. Messages and calls will NOT be answered before 9am and after 7pm. I do fully understand I’m a business & that’s what I got myself in for, but I need to set some things in place. As most of you will of seen the recent post I was selling up. I refuse to give up after all my hard work, the massive clientele I have built for my children, I do it for them & because I LOVE my job.

On behalf of all business owners, be kind and think…
DoI really need to ask that question?
Do I really need to ring this person 9 times to book an appointment at 3am whilst the world is asleep?

THE ZONARY PLACENTA

Yesterday our female Luna blessed us with a full female litter, sadly 2 passed in the birth canal. Luna is doing amazing ❤️

I saved 2 zonary placentas to show you.

Left is cut and inside shown.
Right is intact ring shaped.

A zonary placenta also known as a ring-shaped placenta or annular placenta is an extremely rare variation in placental morphology where the placenta can appear as an annular ring. It can be a complete ring of placental tissue, but more often, tissue atrophy to part of the ring can result in a horseshoe shape placenta.

I’d literally give anything, do anything & go without to make our boy better.

Please be thankful for your baby’s, kiss & love them literally to death. Don’t be too mad when they wee or poo on the floor, it’s just an accident, chewed cupboards can be replaced, shoes an items can be replaced. They’re here for such a short time 💔

PYOMETRA is an infection inside the womb. Any unneutered dog is at risk of developing pyometra, especially if they are over six years old.

Hormonal changes during a season/heat put your dog at risk of a womb infection. Once the heat is over, the majority return to normal, but unfortunately, some dogs develop complications, which lead to an infection (pyometra). As a pyometra develops, the womb fills with pus. A pyometra can lead to blood poisoning, kidney failure, peritonitis and even death. Pyometra is either ‘open’ or ‘closed’. An open pyometra is when the womb entrance is open, meaning you are likely to see blood and pus coming from your dog’s v***a. A closed pyometra is when the womb entrance is shut; meaning you are unlikely to see any discharge. A closed pyometra is particularly dangerous because it is at risk of bursting.

It’s very rare, but occasionally a neutered dog will develop a specific type of pyometra called a stump pyometra.
