🔥Heat stroke awareness🔥

☀️As we approach summer and the heat is rising please always take into consideration your furry friends before heading out☀️

🐾Always use the 5 second rule before going out for a sunny walk- if you can’t hold the back of your hand on the pavement for longer then 5 seconds then it’s too hot for paws🐾

💦If you do suspect your dog has heat stroke this is an emergency, remember WET then VET💦

Signs of a heat stroke:
🥵 Panting, heavy drooling or foaming at the mouth
🐶Collapsed or wobbly on legs
👄Dark red or pale gums
❤️Increased heart rate

💚🖤Always remember no dog has ever died from missing one walk, but dogs have died from having one walk in the heat💚🖤
