Today we went with Maca again for a check up, because those holes who got open, didn't react good on a antibiotic therap...

Today we went with Maca again for a check up, because those holes who got open, didn't react good on a antibiotic therapy and there is discharge all the time. 😭😭
That discharge is preventing holes to close, so today we make a swab and bring it to the laboratory for a check up.🔬🧫
We will get results in 72 hours and we will see what kind of bacteria is "working" there. After that she will continue with different antibiotics depends from the results. 💉💊
When we took her, we know it that its gonna be a long, complicated process.🥺🥺
First we were waiting for her to survive the surgery, then we wait to see where stitches will fell off.
She had a massive injury and all the stitches are fine except for the opening on her belly and under armpit.😢
We put her antibiotic powder few times per day to keep the place dry, but it didn't heal.
We give her two kinds of antibiotics for a 14 days, but without success.
She had massive diarrhea so we bought gastrointestinal food for her.
Everything cost a lot.💸
We really are drained and we dont have any more funds to pay for everything. That's why we need your help.😮‍💨

We bring Maca, grey old, badly injured cat for a check up.
Biggest part of the wound is healing well, but there is still those two spots (on the belly and under armpit) where holes are not healing.
She was under therapy for two weeks, now we will just clean the wounds and in Monday we will take a swab to do antibiogram. We must be sure if there is some kind of resistant bacteria.
She suffered so much :(
But good thing is that we settle down diarrhea, we start giving her gastrointestinal medicine food of Royal Canin. She love it.
Of course there are also vitamins and gastrointestinal vet food.
I'm tired of begging for funds, I feel bad about that. I will just leave the account for donations

Today Atlas had a surgery, but unfortunately in the next period he will have another one.
That testicle which was visible is removed, the other one which is in stomach cavity (not able to find on a touch, nor on a ultrasound), will be removed soon. He will have his stomach cavity open, like females in spaying in order to remove that one.
Today he didn't respond well to the general anesthesia, had a lot of epileptic seizures from the anesthetic, so they work fast to wake him up sooner. And he already receive big dose, so doctors didn't want to risk with more anesthesia. His life is more important.

Now he is good, back at our shelter, he will rest a little tonight, and tomorrow he will be fine.

Donations for his veterinary bills are more than welcomed.
