Making time for our pets is so important, but making times for ourselves is equally important. That's why Toodle Lou Pet Care works hard to ensure leaving your pets at home whilst you're on holiday is stress free. We're here to keep them in their routine, love, feed and clean their enclosures whilst you're away.

We offer drop-in services for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, small furries like hamsters, exotic species, and fish in and around Newquay. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse Lou can administer any medication required and keep up to date with essential checks where needed.

Photographed is Omlat who's family were away for one week. Daily visits included feeding, cleaning, providing enrichment and doing a nail check. It was a real pleasure to look after her.

Hi, I'm Lou and I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse here in Newquay, Cornwall. My small business offers visits for small furries, cats and exotic pets whilst you're away. ○BUSINESS UPDATE○

Hi all,

What an incredible year it has been here in Newquay. Moving my small business from Suffolk to Cornwall wasn't easy, and I'm so grateful for your support and custom over this period. However, as always, I want to offer the best possible service to you here in Newquay whilst meeting the demand of the local area, and therefore, Toodle Lou Pet Care is now changing.

From this week, I will only be offering cat, small furry, and exotic pet drop ins. These are available both morning and evening, with the added benefit of my veterinary nursing skills on top, like administering medications to your pet whilst you're away. This is hugely beneficial for those thyroid cats or those receiving one-off treatments. I will still have appointments available for nail clipping and a**l glands. However, with my work within veterinary practice, these will be limited. Loyalty cards for these services still very much apply!

Booking is the same. Please contact me here via what's app - 07460 838 985 - with a free meet and greet for every drop in visit booked.

Have you ever seen an activity pen like this for a hamster? One of the best parts of my job is seeing how loved and cared for pets are by their owners within the community here in Newquay. This week, we're visiting Omlat daily for feeding, cleaning, and playtime. It's such a joy to see how happy she is during this time. We strive to keep your pets within their normal routine whilst you're away, going above and beyond to meet their needs. We send owners daily updates and ensure they have everything they desire. What a pleasure it was to look after Robbie whilst his owner was on holiday last month. Robbie requires daily medication so his visits with Lou included feeding, litter tray cleaning, snuggles and medication administration. Here's what his owner had to say about the service: "We were so lucky to have Louise to look after our cat Robbie. She went above and beyond to make sure he was well fed and medicated for the two weeks we were away. We had daily updates with pictures and videos which was really lovely. I would definitely recommend Louise and will be booking her again in the future." Our 2025 diary is now open. Robbie's owner has already booked her holiday and visits with us.
