🌟Let’s talk about “Smooth coated dogs” 🌟

Some of us have what’s know as a smooth coated dog. This is when their fur is short in length and sits tight against the body! It has a slick feel, and the coat will stay at one length all year around, so it does not require any cutting or styling. It is one of the easiest coats to maintain at home! 😍 (aside from the endless amounts of shedding you will probably get 😂)

However, this does not mean they “don’t need a trip to the groomers” as we quite often hear! 😆 in actual fact, we as groomers maintain your dogs health by releasing all their dead fur & dead skin which also helps improve their blood flow! We trim their nails, clean their ears and we bath them, which of course leaves them smelling their absolute best for you!

Did you know this style of dogs coat re-grows newly every 30-60 days?! So we as groomers recommend you visit us every 8-10 weeks to maintain the maximum quality for your dog.

So next time your dogs coat looks a bit dull, or they are shedding heavily at home, please give me a message to book in, and I’ll be happy to help you achieve the best from your dogs coat. 🥰🐶
