Thank you for putting this review on my page Louie & family. It’s lovely to hear I have made a positive difference xx. Some pics from the last few weeks with some of my lovely boarders.

My dog Louie stayed with Sally for a week and OMG I'm so over the moon. yes my boy has really enjoyed his time there: walkies, socialising with other dogs and having fun. I can certainly see the difference in his behaviour at home, he is more chilled out rather than being on the go constantly. So Sallys dog house training skills are brilliant also. We will definitely be using her services again. Highly Recommended! Thank you once again - Louie and family

Due to my daughter Niamh now having wheels of her own this frees up my time. So my working hours have now changed to:
Mon 9.30-4pm
Tues 8-4pm
Weds 8-1.30pm
Thurs 9.30-7pm
Fri 9.30-6pm
Sat 9.30-2pm

Trying to dodge the downpours (very unsuccessfully may I add!!) However, the rain didn’t dampen our fun (although I think Toby may disagree!! 😨🤣) 🐾❤️

Fab adventures this week & the weather was kind to us (for the majority anyway!!). Ernie decided that a nice shade of green was in fashion 🤦🏻😩 (good job we love you Ern), and Ruby and Benji became bessie mates. 🐾❤️. Now onto the bank holiday with my guests (no rest for the wicked!!! 😉😉) Enjoy your Easter everyone & watch out for those Easter Eggs as they aren’t good for our furry friends! 🐣🐣

⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ⚠️

It is with great sadness we are letting you know we have had two cases of dogs becoming unwell with Parvovirus within the last week.

Even more heartbreakingly is that both dogs were fully vaccinated as puppies but have not yet had their first annual booster. It is presumed there is a virulent strain of Parvovirus circulating in the area.

To try and prevent this spreading further or more dogs becoming unwell with this horrible illness we would urge for:-

🐾 All dog owners who’s vaccinations have lapsed to ensure they restart the course in full.

🐾 All dogs due their annual booster to make sure they don’t go overdue.

🐾 All puppies who have had their first two vaccinations for their primary puppy course to book in for an extra Parvo vaccination top-up at 16 weeks (at a cost of £18).

If anyone has any concerns at all or questions please don’t hesitate to phone the practice on 01484 714597.

DASHER here 👋🖤🐕 I don’t like to bring the mood down, but I’m not having the best week really 😢

On Monday, I went into the vets for a little op … but it turned out that the op was bigger than they thought, as I had an undescended testicle that had to be removed - ouch 😳

THEN, I thought well at least I’ve got someone coming to meet me on Friday, I’ll look forward to that … but I heard that late last night, the person cancelled … so I’ve not met anybody today and I’m still here waiting for someone to think I’m the most handsome boy and want to adopt me 😓🖤

I’ve heard that not many people seem to notice or want black Lurchers like me … I knew a long haired blonde girl called Fig when I first came in, and she had sooo many people wanting to meet her, and she found a home quickly, so my people here at HYPS suggested that the other people wanting Fig come to meet me… and not one person did 😓

I haven’t put a paw wrong since I arrived - I’m immaculate in my kennel, very friendly (I’m just a bit shy at first), I don’t mind other dogs and I just want to find my person who’ll love me as much as I’ll love them…. 🤞🥺❤️
