Wotsit says hey 👋

You won’t see Wotsit at any events. He’s an OBT, an orange baboon tarantula, or more commonly known as an orange bitey thing in the tarantula community!🤣

He certainly lives up to his name, in situations like this, my animals welfare is priority and I’ll always choose to not handle any animal that shows even the smallest sign of distress❤️

The XL bully has now been added to the list of banned dangerous dog breeds in England and Wales💔

It's unfair to target a specific breed or type of dog, as it can lead to misconceptions and stereotypes. I argue that it's important to focus on responsible ownership and education instead of outright banning.

It's important to consider the individual dog's behavior and not judge based on their breed alone. Responsible ownership and education can be more effective in promoting safe and happy interactions with dogs. It's all about giving them a fair chance❤️

This ban not only affects the XL bully breed alone, but any dog that falls into the ‘type.’ Typing a dog based on its looks can be misleading because appearances can be deceiving. It's more important to focus on a dog's personality, behavior, and individual needs. Each dog is unique, regardless of its appearance🐾

Tonight we light a candle for all the dogs that will be lost due to irresponsible ownership and this new ban💔

Here is Evie, my French bulldog and I❤️

Little Holly was helped over the rainbow bridge today🌈

I do really hope they find some sort of cure to stop these horrible tumours once and for all, they’re horrific.

So much worse because she was still mentally and physically capable, but her little body was failing her💔 I have chosen to not share any photos of her tumour this time around, as it was pretty graphic to see.

I usually would opt to have these surgically removed, but due to the location of Holly’s tumour it wasn’t possible this time😓

Sleep tight sweet girl, your brother and sisters are waiting on you❤️

It’s that time of year again❄️🎄

How have YOU helped me and my animals in the last few years? 🥰

✔️You’ve helped build a new reptile outbuilding to give all the animals upgrades to their enclosures.

✔️You’ve helped treat Sabre the boa constrictor when she came to us with an abscess, scale rot and severely underweight.

✔️You’ve helped treat Athena the rat for a respiratory infection when she came to us living in filthy tub, soaked with urine and completely blind.

✔️You’ve helped treat Scamp the rat when she came to us with a huge tumour that needed immediate surgery.

✔️You’ve helped treat Bambi the rabbit for an upper respiratory infection.

✔️You’ve helped Casey when she came to us with 3rd degree burns across her body and on deaths door.

✔️You’ve helped put Casey through surgery when we found out she was egg bound and unable to pass them due to the extreme burns on her body.

✔️You’ve helped Margo the rabbit when she came to us with arthritis and had received no treatment.

✔️You’ve helped Margo when she needed dental work to trim her overgrown teeth, preventing her from being able to eat properly.

✔️You’ve helped two rescued mice, Valarie and Shadow have tumours removed allowing them to have the best shot at life.

✔️You’ve helped Daphne the whites tree frog when she came to us full of abscesses and infection.

✔️You’ve helped Benny the terrapin when he came to use with extreme shell rot.

✔️You’ve allowed me to rescue Alby the three legged mouse after his leg was chewed off.

✔️You’ve allowed me to give uvb lighting and substrate to our rescuse snakes, Tango, Samson and Dehlila who had never experienced what its like to dig and bury themselves.

Without your help and support, I wouldn’t be able to give these amazing animals the homes they so desperately need.

The list is endless and I could go on for days. Without your continued support, none of what I do could be possible and these animals wouldn’t have the opportunites they have now❤️

I started doing this alone, however I now have Brooke to help me at events, many of you have probably met her and know she does a fantastic job. And for that, I can’t thank her enough!🥰

Here’s a classic example of why you should be checking your pets on a regular basis!⬇️⬇️

Regular health checks for pets are important to ensure their overall well-being and catch any potential health issues early on. Just like humans, pets can't always communicate when something is wrong, it's a proactive way to keep your furry friends happy and healthy! 🐾

Little Bo had something known as ’hay poke’, also known as corneal foreign body, which is an eye injury that can occur in animals, including guinea pigs, rabbits, horses and other livestock, when a piece of hay or straw gets lodged in the eye. It can cause irritation, redness, and discomfort for the animal.

If this was left untreated, it is highly likely that Bo would’ve lost her eye😢

Happy Reptile Awareness Day!🦎❤️

Reptile Awareness Day is an amazing day when we get to learn all about reptiles and how amazing they are! It's a chance for us to appreciate their unique features, like the scales on their skin and their ability to regulate their body temperature. 🐍

We can also learn about the different types of reptiles, from snakes and lizards to turtles and crocodiles. It's important to spread awareness about reptiles and their conservation because they play an important role in our ecosystems. 🐢

So let's celebrate Reptile Awareness Day and show some love for these incredible creatures! 🐍🦎🐢

Some photos from our last visit to Lornebank Care Centre❤️

Taking animals into care homes can have many benefits for the elderly. It can bring smiles, comfort, and a sense of purpose. Interacting with animals can also reduce stress and promote social interaction among residents🐾🐰

Here are some photos of our visit to Ryan Meadows Care Home during the week!🥰

Having animals in care homes can be incredibly beneficial for the elderly. They bring so much joy and companionship to the residents🤗

Imagine being able to cuddle with a furry friend or give them a pet. It's not just about the physical affection, but also the emotional support they provide❤️

Animals have this amazing ability to bring comfort and happiness to people, especially those who may be feeling lonely or isolated. They can even help reduce stress and anxiety, making the care home environment feel more relaxed and welcoming🐾

It's truly heartwarming to see the smiles on the faces of the elderly when they interact with animals. Plus, caring for animals can give them a sense of purpose and responsibility, boosting their self-esteem and overall well-being🐰

Animals truly have a special place in our hearts, and they can make a world of difference in the lives of the elderly living in our care homes🐾❤️

A few weeks ago we joined the Autastic Club with my lovely animal family and safe to say it was a great success!🥰

We were able provide comfort and teach responsibility, all while having fun! These amazing animals can teach unconditional love and support, helping children feel safe and secure❤️

Animals can be incredible allies in therapy for children! Animal-assisted therapy can help create a safe and non-judgmental environment where kids can express their feelings and build trust. Interacting with animals, such as rabbirs or snakes, can reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. It can also improve social skills and communication, as children often feel more comfortable opening up to animals. Animals have a unique ability to provide comfort and emotional support, making them valuable partners in the therapeutic journey for children. 🐾💕

Thank you again for having us❤️

I’ve had some issues accessing my page/messages but I believe it’s all sorted now! If you’ve messaged me and I’ve not replied, there’s a high chance I’ve lost your message- the Facebook update done me dirty, sorry🫣

In other news, the animals got their yearly vaccinations with Kintra Vet yesterday! They were all so well behaved! ❤️

📣📣ANNOUNCEMENT📣📣

Some of you guys may remember me posting this photo of Sabre’s mouth when we first got her.

I noticed some swelling in her mouth over the weekend, as well as her refusing to eat her first meal since we got her. Due to both of these, I have decided to withdraw her from any events in the coming weeks. She has started on a course of antibiotics to stop any infection that may be causing the swelling in her mouth so fingers crossed I’ve caught it soon enough to stop it getting worse! 🥰

Apologies if anyone was looking forward to meeting her, but I’d rather make sure she was feeling 100% before attending any future events❤️

Orin was a little shy and enjoyed looking at the animals, but it’s clear to see Georgie is a little animal lover in the making! Look how gentle she is with the animals🤩❤️
