LOOKING FOR A FRIEND

Looking for a weight carrier 14.3hh+ sane and sensible horse for a mother/daughter share.
Nothing too young but would consider old head in young shoulders– ideally something experienced and steady.
Gelding preferred, but would consider a non-marish mare for the right fit.

Primarily looking for a happy hacker with potential for low-level dressage and jumping.
Must be good in traffic, safe, and easy to handle on the ground as will be attending local shows.

No Thoroughbreds please. Open to other breeds.
Must be open to vetting.

🖤⚜️WINDHAM’S IRISH DANCER⚜️🖤

My super boy. One of the hardest horses I’ve ever ridden. He is also the one of the best.

Dancer was a rescue I paid £300 for 8 and half years ago. We have achieved so much together.

He’s so tricky to ride, and it never looks pretty but he trusts me with his life. He really really trusts me. Our partnership is something else.

🔱 Windham’s Cleopatra 🔱

Cleo has been in a boot camp with me these last 4 weeks….. (I have really pulled out my finger and made more time for her) which I have to say I am throughly enjoying.

And WOW!!!! Who knew she had this much scope….. she’s always had such good knees…. But this much power UNREAL.

I am really enjoying training with her 💛

🖤 The passionate rampant Bunny 🖤

Eventer or 2026!!!!!

This young lady is unbelievable brave, bold with great scope…… she has it all….. the fancy moves too.

I am so incredibly lucky to have her on my team. Considering she wasn’t trained before arriving she is certainly pulling it out of the bag in top style.

Bunny has the best owner Dawn Davis The incredible plant co and is very lucky to get the very best of everything she needs.

This year will be about bunny learning about the competition environment at much lower levels. As she is still young so we want to produce her slowly. To allow her a much longer successful career.

Lesson/riding availability.

North Yorkshire areas, I do have an indoor arena I hire out for sessions. This is an indoor arena with plenty of parking. I cover the arena hire in lesson price. Based just off junction 53 (Scotch corner) unfortunately I have to travel to this arena myself so all new bookings do need to be paid in advance when booking.

I do travel too so unless you are south of Leeds or North of Teeside please feel free to get in touch. I will always do my best to help.

I only have availability Monday to Thursday at the moment due to other days fully booked.

Missing the most vital scale of all…… relaxation. None of the above can be achieved correctly if the horse is not relaxed. That is the number one training scale.

💗 The Scales of Training 💗

The Scales of Training are a guide line of for trainers, riders and judges in the basic training of a horse. They are the building blocks to the horse and riders development. Starting with rhythm, then suppleness, contact, impulsion, straightness and finally collection.

All our flatwork lessons are based around the scales of training ⚖️ and help to progress the rider and horses way of going.
