The 70-year-old Francis Romero was in a coma in the hospital. His dog was allowed to stay with him, did not break away day and night. After a month Francis woke up from the coma with the words:
"Where is the white angel who constantly whispered that everything would be all right?"

This has been a long road. My addiction began when I was 14 and ended when I was 24. I was an unfit mother and lost custody of my daughter when she was around 2 years old. Today we celebrate the best Valentine's Day a mother could ask for. Today we celebrate the permanent reunification of a mother and a daughter. Today, we celebrate recovery. ❤️

"Yesterday I adopted the oldest, sickest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.

Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had.

Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us."

"Left: me, completely broken, 93 pounds, living on the streets, living in fear, in pain, addicted to m**h and he**in, and ready for my life to finally end. I had endocarditis twice from using and I had a hole in my heart. My mom took that picture when she went to rescue me.

Right: I took this picture tonight. Didn't care about angles. Just wanted to show my happiness. 9 months clean. I fought hard for months in the hospital, survived heart surgery, gained 40 pounds, got a place to live, and I have my family and my two cats that help me. I've posted the before pic a lot but my story is important. Recovery is possible and it is worth it."

Young male Rottie - guessing a yr to 19 months
Loves cuddles and affection the pound staff say
Is good walking.past dogs BUT can react to other large entire males
I am posting this boy as he has been abandoned and has now served his 7 days in a council pound facility and timed out!
Ronnie DESPERATELY needs help but with the ongoing crisis in this country, a lack of commitment and no Fosterers available we cannot help without someone stepping forward to help us help him!!!
He is ONLY assessed by the pound so we have NO information regarding cats, small furries or children.. he is not properly dog tested .....And nor can we get more ... so we must have an experienced foster to assess fully for us in order to get him out of kennels URGENTLY

Handsome Tobias is still looking for his forever home ❤️❤️

He’s eight years old and he really enjoys a good cuddle!

Unfortunately, he really hates cats, and he would like to be the only pet in the home, and not live with small children (teens and up should be fine)

He would like to go outside so a quiet area is vital for him

He’s ready to leave us now, and we promised him a home in time for Christmas! Please help us keep this promise and share for lovely Tobias.
