Lets Play Ponies with Jo Crouch

Let's Play Ponies is for everyone to come out with their own ponies/horses to gain confidence and have fun with others.

A bit about me..... Jo Crouch BHSAI with Intermediate Teaching (Coach) and HND Horse Studies.

I have been coaching equestrians for over 27 years and have developed a great love for helping horses and riders, I particularly enjoy coaching for confidence and helping riders to achieve their goals what ever they may be.

I studied at Bedgebury School and while there I did my BHSAI. After this I went on to Writtle College where I took a H.N.D. in Horse Studies. I also passed my Intermediate Instructors Exam in 2006. While doing this I was also a very active member of West Kent Sevenoaks and Romney Marsh Pony Club competing in Mounted Games, Eventing, Show Jumping, Tetrathlon, Polocrosse and Dressage Teams. I have also enjoyed driving nearly all the ponies that I have ridden and have taken part with them in many driving trials and driving events. After Pony club I joined Rother Valley Riding Club riding and competeted in many Dressage, Show Jumping and Horse Trials teams and have been an active member of the committee for many years. I trained the Romney Marsh Pony Club Mounted Games Teams for many years soon after I had left school, which taught me alot about teaching children and I have always had a great love of teaching and helping people to enjoy riding their horses and ponies. It gives me great pleasure to watch people gain confidence with their horses and ponies and I have made many friends along the way. I am available for private lessons too. I am very happy to teach anyone with their own horse/pony whether you need help with learning a Dressage test, Gridwork jumping, jumping a round of Show Jumps or even just playing games. As a British Horse Society Accredited Professional Coach: • I am covered by Public Liablilty Insurance. •I have current certificate in First Aid •I have a current certificate in Safeguarding & Protecting Children. •I have undergone a criminal record check. •I have attended regular Continual Professional Development training days. What do I do: The aim is to organise clinics that will build the rider's confidence and improve their riding skills; some are taught over jumps, whilst others are on the flat. The cost of clinic will depend on the cost of the venues so please see each date for that information. Groups will always be sorted according to ability and my aim is to build confidence in pony/horse and rider. Sometimes there will be a theme behind the session such as Christmas or Halloween which then gives you the opportunity to dress up and have a bit more fun!! I do like to take an opportunity to have drinks and cake after the clinic if it is possible!
