We had the pleasure of visiting us at the yard at the weekend. The staff work extremely hard here to ensure the horses are cared for to the highest possible standard.
It was some of the staff and Paul and I's turn to get a bit of maintenance. Viv gave us a fantastic treatment working on all the parts of our bodies, which work extra hard in this physical job! Highly recommend getting in touch. Thank you Viv 😊

Just a quick update on what’s happening following my accident at the yard on Thursday.

Unfortunately I had an accident while riding out this morning which resulted in me being airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with pelvic injury. Quite the comedown after our winner at Musselburgh on NYD.
Just want to say a huge thank you to the Northumberland Air Ambulance for the amazingly speedy response and brilliant care they displayed while tending to me. And also to the staff at the RVI for the superb way I'm being looked after now.
To all of our owners, rest assured the highly professional and dedicated team of staff we have at Hazelrigg will ensure the ship runs as smoothly as always while I recover from my injury, and we'll continue to train, prepare and run the horses as intended.
Huge thanks also to everyone who's sent their well wishes to me. It means a lot to me and my family.

We are delighted to announce Tony Dobbin will be joining us in our new Racing Club venture. Dobbs has agreed to be our club ambassador so will be helping us at the races, with the Q&A sessions we'll be organising, hosting social events and also here at Hazelrigg for stable visits to answer anything our members want to talk about. Dobbs is a well-known and popular figure within racing so he's a great addition to the Racing Club and we have no doubt his involvement will enhance the experience for our membership. We'll be back in touch with full details about the club and a bit more info on L'Insurge himself soon...

Yesterday he was the king of Kelso, winning the Simply Ned Chase under Sean Quinlan for our first big-race winner from Hazelrigg...24 hours on, think it's fair to say he's earned his pick of the best grass here! Well done Breizh River 👏👏👏

We know dark starts aren't everyone's cup of tea at this time of year, but there's something a little bit magical about 5.30am feeding time here at Hazelrigg. Just hope we're still saying that come January 🤣
