It's sad to say goodbye to everyone.
We are closing due to health reasons.
Like they say as one chapter closes another one begins.
I'd like to say a big thank you to everybody we have met and supplied over the last 14 years near and far.🐾🐾

We very thankfully have enjoyed a Christmas spell off with all trimmings!! After such a poorly year, its been lovely to start the next surrounded in sparkle. We are also super thankful for all the support shown to us through all the toughest bits. Everyone has been so amazing. Sending you out all our love and bestest of wishes for 2024.

It's been a very sad week for us at Paws. On Tuesday Jack passed away peacefully at home. It's one of those tough times, that comes with loving and sharing your life with a such a beautiful family member that gives so much. So many happy memories.

Sometimes you need to take the time, to celebrate a really good day. Its been a delivery day. Mr Paws dropped to two places this morning. Then it was lunch out and the rest of the deliveries together, enjoying the scenery. We even had sunshine!!!

Another Bank Holiday weekend for us to enjoy. Like so many others, we have been watching the coronation. Today has been a good opportunity for us to rest lots. As normally bank holidays go un noticed for us!!! Have a great time whatever you do.

PAWS UPDATE.....we are happy to report that Mr Paws has been back to the baking this week and a good selection of our treats are now available to order online. It would have been Olly's 10th birthday today and we miss him so much. We do feel lucky however to have shared his whole life with his favourite head rubs and big boy silliness.

PAWS UPDATE.....I'm delighted to be out of hospital at last!!! Mr Paws is healing well. We are resting lots this weekend and will hit all the admin on Monday. For now the online shop will remain closed and shop orders on hold until doctors give Pete the go ahead. Will keep you all in the loop. Thank you so much for all the kind comments and support. We are very grateful to be surrounded by such lovely people.

Poorly Paws update..... I'm doing really well in hospital on magic antibiotics. Keeping occupied with knitting and writing lists. Mr Paws is mending and will know more after his next appointment on Wednesday. Thank you all for your lovely comments and best wishes. Sadly my Internet is not great and I can't seem to like or answer them. They are however very much appreciated by us both.

Poorly Paws news....... We are not doing so well at the moment. I (Mrs Paws) have been very poorly for months now, with a very nasty chest infection and am currently in hospital. Then Mr Paws had a mishap with a chainsaw last week. So that's the business on pause for at least a couple of weeks or so. Current orders have been sent out and we will keep you all posted on progress. We are staying Pawsative for speedy recoveries.

Hello everyone!!! For the first time this year we have not put a cheery picture of us, next to the Christmas tree wishing you all good cheer. We have both been really poorly and Christmas had to be cancelled. Thankfully now Mr Paws is healthy and I'm getting there. Our online shop will re open on 6th January. We are very much looking forward to a fresh new year. Wishing you all health and happiness for 2023. Thank you for all the support.

It's the time of year for our annual Remembrance. This weekend is Remembrance Sunday, and although we always remember those affected by war and conflict; there's always an animal story too. Animals have been involved in war as long as humans, and have fulfilled many roles over the centuries.
When you're remembering the human sacrifice this weekend, take some time to remember the animals too.

Wishing our very own Mr Paws a happy 50th birthday today!!! This photo is of him and Nelly back in May. Its a bit of a dark gloomy day today so we are now going to hide away and watch a film or two.

It's been a tough year for us at Paws for Cake. With the loss of three of our furry family, as well as me (Mrs Paws) being poorly more often than not. That coupled with rising costs and all that that brings, makes for difficult days. With only Jack and our lovely cat Fern the house seemed rather empty. Jack has never been without other dogs and he was very down. We are now delighted to be sharing our lives with our new kitten Ivy. Her and Jack are truly smitten with each other and cuddles are a daily occurrence. She has brought lots of joy over the last few weeks, as her character develops with more than a smidge of mischief!!!
