At the great Momotaro Koi Farm
Another farm. More koi 😍.
This time we stopped at Tanaguchi. These will be azukari so hopefully will be a lot bigger come the autumn. Hoping to be around 35-55cm. This doesn't happen all the time so we are lucky to have had this option.
We have also got some golden corn on the way too. A pretty new variety to the hobby.
Drop us a DM, or drop by the shop for more information.
And here we have some kumonryu, from Oyama koi farm. These are a sample box, and the sizes are around 25cm.
Our buyers are still in Japan so there's still time to find something for you.
As promised. You won't see a better kujaku than this.
This fish will be in the UK next month. We really can't wait to see this in front of us. A real stunner.
Just a quick walk around Sakai a couple of days ago.
If you know, you know.....
There's something special to come a bit later.....
So. There will be some more Omosako koi coming to the UK, in the shape of these beauties.
Shiro utsuri, kujaku and tancho showa.
All will be in the UK in March and available after quarantine, when the temperatures are steady in spring.
Let us know if something has caught your eye 😍
Here we have some tosai from Tamaura Koi Farm.
These tategoi are around 23-25cm. As with the others, they will be in the UK next month.
Lots of potential, with the sumi to come through as they grow.
Some real stunners in there already.
This is what Omosako koi farm are famous for.
Some shiro utsuri, which will be in their way to the UK next month.

A little behind the scenes of what happened yesterday ( 16th January )
Several hundred tosai, now in new waters 😃
The time has come, we are preparing for spring. Over the next few months we have a building project going on at the back of the store, while we get lots of great new stock from our many suppliers. Most recent our koi from Japan 🗾 have started arriving 🛬

Come and grab a bag of Saki Hikari before the end of the season.
Why not give them a little treat whilst you mix in some wheatgerm?
(Which we also have in stock to take away 😉)
