In the class We will be teaching our dogs to behave around other dogs. We do a few basic training exercises (walking to heel, stay, recall, basic manners) then let them play off the lead, if all the dogs are happy being off lead, for about 10-15mins then back to some basic training in getting our dogs to engage with us.

I’ve got a new agility course to make sure training is fun and positive for the dog and handler.

Do you have a Pomeranian or Pom x? I’m doing a socialisation class for them on 5th September at 1pm. If you can’t make this day please message me as we will be doing more.

These classes have proved very popular for the dachshunds!

10am under 20 weeks any breed

11am over 20 weeks medium to larger breeds

12pm dachshunds

1pm Pomeranians, Pom x, chihuahuas (any tiny breed)

Calling all sausage dogs, cavapoo/cockapoos, large dogs and puppies up to 20weeks!

This Saturday 7th August we have basic training and socialisation classes to last about 45- hour

10am puppies up to 20 weeks

11am cockapoos/ cavapoos all the poos *full making another class at 2pm*

12pm sausage dogs

1pm larger dog breeds

2pm more poos

🐾 One to one training for the summer holidays 🐾

Days I definitely have available to book one to one training.

August
3rd, 5th, 6th, 10th, 11th, and 12th

I can help with pulling on the lead, jumping up, barking at other dogs out walking, and whatever it is you need extra help with I’m sure I can help.

Prices will be £30 for an hour in my secure barn or £35 for home local visits, all depends what you need extra help with.

When I breed a litter of puppies which isn’t very often anymore, I take a lot of pride in it.

I always like to keep in touch with all the new owners.

🎆 🐾 Fireworks & Puppies 🐾 🎆

Please feel free to Message me any questions you have!

🎆 if you can’t be bothered to put the time in you shouldn’t have brought a puppy.

🎆 use food to make this a positive experience

🎆 slowly increase the sound of fireworks each time you do the training, don’t do this in one day it takes a little time spread out over a few weeks/months

🎆 you be a calm positive leader

🎆 make sure your puppy is calm when doing this training

🎆 on the morning of fireworks night take your puppy for a long walk get them tired. Don’t feed them their breakfast or reduce their breakfast. When the fireworks start, calmly give them their food. Be with them but you be calm and positive. Remember they feed off your energy.

🎆 if your puppy is still showing major signs of stress then speak to your vet about calmers

🎆 don’t be one of those that moan on Facebook, be proactive about your puppies wellbeing

How many times do you reckon it took me to get to this point?? Even though Dave still didn’t sit straight away! 🤦🏼‍♀️ (More practice needed for Dave)

Lots! There’s no secret to dog training, it’s all about what you put in you will get out.

How I got to this point, first you start close, if one moves that isn’t meant to, I put him back and start again. Then I make the distance further each time. Then you would add distractions.

Dog training is all about repeating and adding levels/distractions.

If you have come to my classes you will know I’m not a fan of harnesses. They teach your dogs nothing apart from to pull and look so uncomfortable for your poor dogs.

Teach your dog to walk properly on a lead and your walks will be become a million times easier!

This was just walking to our first walk of the day, Dave 4 months, Margot 6months and Eva 8. Really doesn’t take much to achieve the perfect leash walk.

Message me to get your dog walking perfectly and relaxed on a lead.

Walking on a lead

Teach your dog to walk properly on a lead and your walks will be become a million times easier! This was just walking to our first walk of the day, Dave 4 months, Margot 6months and Eva 8. Recall!

This video brings me so much joy and the reason why I do dog training. Delilah came to me over a month ago, she is a Romanian rescue and her owner had her for about 3 weeks before coming to me. This is the first time she has been off the lead, look how happy she is and is under total control by the owner. She is a very loving dog and a total blank canvas, we had to go back to basics and teach her sit, walk to heel and recall. Her owner has done a fantastic job of carrying on the training at home and it really shows.

This is willow again about a week or so later, totally different dog, happy and confident to walk on a lead. I had also started to add in the stop whistle.
