Treacle and Baloo may be brothers from different mothers, but they are inseparable 🫶

🐾 Treacle is the ‘big boy’ at 6.2kg and proudly patrols the house at all hours while singing the song of his people. He’s an indoor explorer who loves supervised garden adventures on his harness!

🐾 Baloo is the ‘dinky blue boy’ at 3.9kg. He's 5 months younger than Treacle but is full of personality!

These three incredible pups all have big personalities 🐶

🐾 Adler (20kg) started as a companion dog and became a therapy dog for the owner's late daughter. She’s been everywhere, from the zoo to concerts, rubbing shoulders with celebrities along the way! Adler is a total star with her award-winning eyes 🤩

🐾 Duke (45kg) is a French import and the household mastermind. At just four months old he was opening doors...and locking his humans out! He's the biggest cuddler but his love might knock you off your feet. He's also won a prize for being the loudest dog as his bark echoes through the woods 🌲

🐾 Toby (64kg) is a gentle giant who won 'Best Puppy in Show' just before his first birthday. He's not a huge toy fan but, if there’s food around, his nose knows! He’s the ultimate snuggle buddy and loves everyone he meets ❤️

Why pet insurance has never been more important 🐾

A recent BBC report has shed light on a deeply concerning issue. Some vets are feeling pressured to increase prices or recommend unnecessary treatments due in part to the rising costs of running a veterinary practice and the growing presence of corporate ownership in the sector.

Pet owners in the UK are also speaking out. In a Reddit thread*, many share personal experiences of facing unexpected vet bills, struggling to access affordable care, or questioning whether treatments were driven by genuine need or financial incentive.

While the vast majority of vets do incredible, compassionate work under immense pressure, it’s clear the system is changing...and not always in ways that benefit pets or their people.

So where does that leave pet owners?

That’s where pet insurance can play a crucial role. It helps remove the financial fear from decision-making, giving owners confidence to say “yes” to the treatment their pet needs without hesitation. It also helps veterinary teams provide the best possible care without needing to second-guess whether a client can afford it.
