Another great walk Friday morning in the Crags. Due to a lack of people the deer are flying around, which made things interesting with Cookie and Molly at one point 😱
We left the deer in peace and headed lower down to play and chase each other, eat snax and ponder what next week will look like and when the snow will melt🤞
A challenging week but we got there, and had fun! 🙌🤩🐾👣🥳

Lottie, Murph & Wallace enjoyed the river walk down to Gibson Mill and back along the track, again, beautiful in there, and because of the ice barely a soul around 🥳😁
We’re still keeping it low down in the Valley for walks as it’s so cold up on the tops and still hazardous with the snow and ice….loving the Crags even more than I usually do 🙏🏿😊🤩🙌

Yay the roads are much clearer than yesterday 🙌🥳 the temps are waaaay down tho 🥶 🧊
Had a crackin walk in the Crags, raced around to keep warm, ate handfuls of biscuits and gave each other kisses - well, MrB did, he was in a very affectionate mood today 😘😘😍

There’s no other word for it but…challenging!
The road conditions are awful right now, we can’t get to many of our regular customers due to snow and ice this week 🥶
And all our walks will be in the Crags or low down in Hebden to reduce the risk of adverse conditions catching us out. It’s stressful.
However, had a couple of great walks today with the dogs 🤩🥳
Got my yaktrax on my boots for traction and off we go 👣 🐾 👣 🐾

We made it out 🙌 Just a trio of dogs.
Headed to the Crags for snowballs, sniffs and snax. It was good to get out after being snow bound ❄️
Paws crossed that there’s no more overnight, altho the ice will bring other challenges 🥶

Day 2 of being snowed in! Managed to dig my van out so the drive is clear for when I can eventually leave. The road is currently only drivable for a 4x4 so I’m staying put today, but I’m kicking myself that I didn’t reload on the hot choc at the weekend 🤔❄️🥶

Well, what to say….chaos came along for the ride on this walk 😂😂
We were all giddy kippers and then half the group decided to go AWOL looking for deer beds 🦌🛌
Me and the other half of the group, slipped and skidded our way to the absconders, and eventually got on with the walk 😂😂
It was all go. As if this excitement wasn’t enough, we then got very over stimulated by sticks 🙄
So we all went on the lead to calm down a bit….I’m such a kill joy 🥲
Lol, it was a hectic one. Over and out until next week, when we head straight into the Winter session 🥶 ❄️ 🧊

Bloomin heck 🥶 it was a wee bit cold up there today!
Jeff, Biscuit and Murph enjoyed a BRISK canter down to Whiteholme res 🐾🐾 we had our engines running 😂
No Lottie 😞 as she wasn’t feeling up to it today and needs some R&R time, wishing our best gal a speedy trip back to us 🥰

Eased ourselves into 2025 🥂 with two small groups today.
Polly, MrB and Cookie were particularly excited to be racing around the Crags…they were burning off all the turkey and trimmings they had been snaffling over Xmas 🎄 😂

We did a walk in the betwixt. The dogs giddiness levels were peaking significantly!
They made me smile with their excitement and we ate lots of biscuits 🐾🥳😋

I lost my best boy Larry unexpectedly this week.
He brought me so much joy, made me laugh every single day and was my constant companion. Life will never be the same.
Thank you to Maggie at Valley of Animals Pet Cremation Service for honouring him on his final journey 🩶🐾🌈

Windy out there today! Helicopter ears were go go go 😂😂
Everyone was talking about what Santa Paws was bringing them….the most popular request was for World Peace ☮️ ….nah don’t be daft, they’re dogs 😂😂 they all just want extra biscuits and stuff themselves on sausages 😋😂🥳
