Just wanted/needed to take a moment to share the memory of Brian Wheelhouse from Whitehall Dog Rescue (registered charity). I only just found out that Brian sadly passed quite a while ago after being diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. That said, in true dedication style his official notice of a few months to live pushed him to fight another 2 years of life, despite the treatment not working, because of his determination to give every day possible to rehabilitate and care for dogs that he has literally rescued from death row since 1992. It’s an honour and a privilege to have known him. I thank him forever for Harry. He’s only one of 4 men in the world that Mia felt safe with. This is a devastating blow in the dog rescue world. The real genuine authentic dog rescue world. There are very, very few, super special, authentic, thorough, experienced, skilled people who give literally their whole heart and life to commit to genuinely help animals unconditionally in the rescue and rehabilitation industry. Brian was, is, and always will be, forever remembered as one of those super special people. I’m so proud of Paige continuing Brian’s legacy at Whitehall. I know she is passionate about continuing things Brian’s way. I found this BBC media footage online that he deserves to have shared and be acknowledged. Always in our packs hearts Brian. This is doing the rounds on many dog groomer pages so I thought I’d join in and share! I’d add a bit about the health and hygiene expert knowledge and first aid care and knowledge. Also how regular grooming prevents your dog from needing a vet with ear/eye/feet/skin/sanitary irritations and infections due to being overdue a professional expert groom with an appropriately experienced qualified professional dog groomer. 🩷🩵🐶
