2 year old liver and white English springer dog-
Ted is the most affectionate little dog, he has his quirks which I'm more than happy to discuss further. He absolutely loves a retrieve and has been out picking up with me this season but he does a slight whine through his nose. (Hence parting with him) isn't loud and certainly not a yap. But because I take so many youngsters out, I simply can't afford to have a whiner.
He would really excel as a beating dog, I've had him out beating and if I did more of it, I'd keep him. He walks to heel , sits on the whistle and is generally steady around game. He Is no world be**er, but definitely potential as he's keen to learn and has a cracking pedigree.
When Ted came to me, he was petrified of vehicles. We've worked on this, he will now approach and sit at the back, he will not jump in. I just lift him in! He is a very sensitive soul, not one for the heavy handed.
He has drive and hunts very nicely.
