So Costa has gone to her new home. We are so pleased that like us her new owners recognised the massive potential in this cracking mare. Thanks to Holly Bradshaw Eventing for selling her for us - it's always so difficult when they are your own.

Over the next few days I will be putting the following on marketplace, so if you think you may be interested pm me before it goes on.
Logik paddock sweeper. Goes behind a quad bike. Perfect to save your back when poo picking. Not the prettiest but it has been kept under cover and works - Sam has been sweeping everything he can find with it!!
Leyland DAF HGV lorry. Again no prizes for looks but a proper workhorse. Stalled for 6 big horses so very little living. Horse area was more important to us than living area. Stallion partitons. Previous owner drove it all across Europe. Perfect hunting or polo box. Not currently plated as we haven't needed it which will be reflected in the price.

Oh Miss Ruby (Archfield Assignation) how we will miss you. In the last 10 years we have all loved you, hugged you and ridden you. You have been more spoilt than any other horse on the place and we will miss you hugely. Time for you to go and make a young girl very happy. Enjoy your new adventure lovely girl

This is a difficult post to write so please bear with us. Due to an unexpected change in circumstances we have no choice but to close down the business. This means that everything will be sold. This will include 3 horses (Costa, Charlie and Ruby), all tack, equipment and machinery. For now we will keep what we need for Beth and Socks, but ultimately they will go too. We intend to have a yard sale, which we will advertise on this page, but wanted to give friends and clients first dibs, so if you know we have something you want then please get in touch. Selling the horses is going to be devestating - two are ones we have bred, so we are asking that friends and clients spread the word to make the process as easy as possible. We will advertise only if we need to. Thank you for all your support over the years.

Mixed fortunes at our first event of the season today at Swalcliffe. Penny Corbett's Brown Revel was an absolute star - 33.25 dressage which is pretty normal for her, then a storming double clear. Unfortunately slightly too storming - speedy time faults knocked her from 6th to 10th!! Webb Junior took Larko to his first ever event. (Larko's not Jake's). They did a lovely test for 32.75 despite a spook at a gate, however things took a downward turn in the sj where Larko showed his total inexperience and took exception to the arena party, advertising boards and pretty much everything else in the ring! Net result - he unseated his rider, so no xc for Jake (who was gutted). What he jumped, he jumped beautifully. Both just need to get a bit more experience.
