We believe in supporting you through a difficult time, which is why we have teamed up with Erica, a qualified counsellor who specialises in pet bereavement.

These counselling sessions address the often overlooked grief that comes with pet loss. This grief can often be devalued by others making it harder to cope and it can lead to shame and the hiding of emotions.

Erica offers a safe, non-judgemental space to honour your loss as you work through your grief.

She also offers support with anticipatory grief when a pet is sick or ageing, when facing the incredibly difficult decision of euthanasia and also the often complex feelings around getting a new pet.

Smiley Riley was a little nervous of hydro when she first began with us, she needed some time to acclimatise to the treadmill and the water but each session she’s been getting slowing more confident and today we felt that tension ease away and she absolutely smashed her session 🤩🤩

Some dogs need a little helping hand with their legs. Our little Woody sometimes needs some tactile stimulation to his hindlimbs to encourage a more desirable and efficient gait. When we do this we will try and remove our hands to see if we get any carry over of that gait, this will be a sign that we are building on the central pattern generators of our patients, basically helping them to get a more 'normal' gait in the treadmill, will help them learn to do this outside of the treadmill too! Peanut is one of our favourite Corgi’s! He’s a young boy with severe hip dysplasia but thanks to their wonderful owners and hard work from him and our team, we have successfully built up the necessary muscles to stabilise the hips 💪🏻 His orthopaedic specialist, who we work closely with on a number of cases, is very pleased with his progress! 🌟 Thanks to his newly acquired muscle strength, the degenerative nature of hip dysplasia will be slowed down significantly, improving his mobility, comfort and overall quality of life into his later years. Follow Freddie’s road to recovery after a severe injury to her spinal cord. We couldn’t be more proud of Freddie and her owners for their love and dedication to her quality of life. It’s been a total pleasure to help them and to see how much Freddie can now really enjoy her life! Grade 5 IVDD is the worse it gets, not only did Freddie have this type of injury, she had it in multiple places at once. She had surgery within 9 hours of it occurring and underwent an intense rehabilitation course to maximise her recovery.
