Just letting everyone know that Phoenix has a graze on one of his back legs. The vet has been to see him and it is being treated.

Lolly is starting to feel better after being unwell for a couple of weeks, and has had a little afternoon groom today to cheer her up!

The Bengeo Rescue Horses are such characters 😂 earlier this week Phoenix, Storm, Lolly and Fidget took their cheekiness to new heights as the gang decided to go on a jolly and visit some of their Bengeo Neighhhbours 🐴 (The 4 returned safe and sound to their field)

Storm enjoyed some time out of the stable today to stretch her legs! Her foot is almost healed but we are still keeping her out of the mud as much as possible until the hardstanding is laid. 🐎

You may not see Storm for a week or two as she is currently on stable rest for an injured foot, and the other horses may be harder to spot as they will be fed at the bottom of the field to try to conquer the mud!

Phoenix got a new coat as the weather gets colder! As he is older than the others and used to be stabled, he is less tolerant of the cold weather. Thank you Hertford HorseBits

Lovely people of Bengeo! We have not forgotten about you and all of your generous donations for the horses. Plans are underway for the hardstanding area, we just need to finalise a date and finally get the horses out of the mud ❤️

If you are ever unable to see the horses, do not worry! the field is deceptively large and they are most likely at their shelter at the bottom of the field.

Fidget may look very sweet (and he can be!) but has recently taken to leaning over the fence at the top of the path to nibble people as they walk past. We will strengthen fence there asap but please be aware and take care with kids!
