The afternoon - a hotly contested team obstacle course. There was sprinting out of the start gate, a whole new meaning to pole work, at times it was neck and neck, the judging was taken very seriously and a couple of Santas kept an eye on those who's 2025 goal will be more core!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Chloe our wonderful apprentice has received a DISTINCTION in all 3 sections of her final assessments. Putting her in the top 20% of apprentices in the country!!
All her hard work and dedication has paid off.
Thanks also to our staff team who have been with her on this journey.

Two great results for LME liveries at Brook Farm Championship today. Dino Nicolaou with an acurate 65% (even with a "sat nav" failure) and two clear rounds put a smile on their faces. Thanks to Claire Painter and Kathleen Hood for their pre-dawn get up to go with him as Super Grooms. A change of day out for me - I was a "super groom" for Hetty and Red acheiving a great 4th and clear round. Lovely to see everyone's hard work paying off.

Due to our wonderful Sunday girl having left us to go to study for her exams, we have a vacancy for a Sunday morning groom. (7.15am to 12.15pm) General yard duties and handling horses.
Experience of handling horses, mucking out, being physically fit and reliable is vital for this job.
Pay above minimum wage (paid monthly on payroll) and uniform provided.
Additional hours to cover full time staff holiday, may also be available.
We would be happy to consider a young person looking for experience on a professional yard.
Based in Bricket Wood, between St Albans and Watford.

Flying Footballs!! Aim to set yourself up to succeed. Both Paella Pony and Special were cool as cucumbers!

Amazingly we avoided the thunderstorms and in celebration, KK and Dino decided to do the canter pole exercise with no stirrups! Great fun this morning at the LME livery clinic.

A "Handy Pony" competition was the entertainment for the LME liveries in the bank holiday sunshine this morning.

The Grand Finale of our Rodeo Day - The Little Munden Equestrian Staff International Drill Team

Tom and Special having fun this morning playing in the Jump Paddock with the obstacles put out ready for the LME livery show next Saturday.

Precision with Poles was this morning's LME livery clinic. Accuracy and small jumps equals great results. Lots of fun.

So it is raining AGAIN but the horses at Little Munden Equestrian are all very happy. Turn the volume up and cheer up this rainy day!
