At first we thought dogs heading over to us on walks was because we were popular. Turns out it was more about what we had in our pockets! Not the self-esteem boost we had hoped. 😂

It was too beautiful a day not to take some shots whilst out walking the pooches.

As usual, Bella was her own dog & generally refuses to play up to the camera. She'll still get in on the dishing out of treats thought 😉

Her brother, Buster, on the other hand, will quite literally do anything for a Good Dog Treat. That boy is definitely led by his stomach 🐶

It really does help having something tasty in your pocket for recall. Our dogs know when we call them back there will be something yummy waiting as a treat and so they don't hang around. We enjoy the peace of mind that they are under control and therefore safe and that what we are giving them is not only tasty, but natural.

It's a win-win (or rather woof-woof) as they say.

So, this is our beagle Buster.

Beagles are notorious for being difficult with recall. When they get a scent, they are off! But, this little pocket sized tin filled with Good Dog natural treats is all we need to bring him back. It’s like cat nip for dogs!

So, let’s chat about one of our popular flavours and what makes our dog treats stand apart.

Your dog can choose from:

💜Black Pudding
🧡Venison
💚Beef & Garlic

Sound pretty yummy don’t they?!

Only British ingredients are used in our treats and they are all grain free. The treats are small enough to fill one of our handy flip lid tins to take on a walk which fit snugly in your pocket.

The pouches are Eco Kraft Pouches meaning that they are biodegradable. Packaging does not have to be harsh for the environment. This kraft paper bag is fully compostable and degrades in just 10 weeks. (We’ll talk about how best to compost in the coming weeks). It includes a zip lock on top, which allows it to be resealable, ensuring the freshness as well as protection against humidity, oxygen and other external factors. The construction of this pouch also allows it to stand up straight by itself, so stores easily in your cupboard.

Treat Composition: chicken 70%, Pork Blood, beef meal, minerals, permitted preservative.

Packaging : Kraft Paper / Cellulose Film / Starch Film

Analytical Constituents: Protein 21.8%, Oil 20.1%, Fibre: 0.9%

So, that’s it! A 50g pouch is £3-perfect size to trial or keep in the car. The larger size weighs 250g and costs £12. This size will keep you going for a good while. Ideal to fill up your tin or smaller more portable pouch.
