It’s been a long night, and we have 3 boys so far!! Mabel is doing fantastic! There’s at least another one in there still to arrive 🐾

1 week to go, I’m so excited! Mabel is showing off her rather large tummy! Mabel has been wormed daily since day 40, that will continue until the pups are 2 days old. I use Panacur liquid mixed with a tiny bit of milk, she loves it, I can then use the same bottle to worm the pups at 3,5 & 7 weeks old.

Her whelping pen is set up, she’s been sleeping in it to get her used to being in it again, and the camera is being set up so I can keep an eye on her whilst I’m out and overnight for signs of labour. Last time she was digging around like crazy so it was pretty easy to tell!

Hopefully my next post will be pictures of some beautiful puppy’s 🥰🐾

Yay 🎉 our 2nd Reggie & Mabel litter is due on May 5th! 5 puppies seen on the scan 🐾 a lovely picture of the proud parents to be 😍 the number of puppies is a good estimate, but it’s hard to count them as they’re all stacked on top of each other. Also some puppies can still be absorbed at this point and not make it. So now the pregnancy is confirmed, Mabel has to go onto puppy food, she’ll be on her usual brand, but the puppy food has more calories in it. I’ll pop her scan pictures/video in the comments for anybody that wants to see 😊

Our very own, gorgeous sausage couple Reggie and Mabel are off to the clinic for a scan to see if Mabel is expecting puppies! It’s so exciting! Today is day 29 from the first mating, a scan can be done from day 28 after the first mating, any earlier and the embryos could be too small to see on the scan. Fingers crossed we have puppies, I’ll update very soon 😊
