πMARY PUPPINS DOG OF THE YEAR AWARDπ
Just wanted to share Mileys progress.
This simple nail clip wasn't possible 2 years agoπ
She started coming to me just over 2 years ago when I first opened my doors (in the cold shed)
When I first groomed her it was like wrestling with a tiny alligator. π if she could bite me she would of. I used to have to use a muzzle and restraints to keep her from injuring me or herself.
But we kept on with a 4 to 5 weekly schedule to try and improve her experience towards grooming. For the last 1.5 years Miley has become such a. Sweet and patient dog to groom. She doesn't like coming but she trusts me and the process. We no longer need any restraints. I complete most of the groom with her free roaming the table.
Her owner has done amazing with keeping to a schedule and Miley is being awarded MARY PUPPINS DOG OF THE YEAR for her bravery π₯°

If your dog doesn't like fireworks like my Chester then just a few things to do differently over next few weeks to help keep your dogs safe...
π₯keep them on leads during evening/night time walks.... spooked dogs run no matter how well trained they are..
π₯try to walk your dogs during the day time when there is less chances of fireworks going off.
π₯ensure all gates/doors etc are shut incase they get spooked and run out the house/garden
Fireworks season isn't ideal for dogs that hate them but we have to learn to live with it. We stay home in the evenings while the fireworks go off. We don't attend fire work displays etc as we couldn't leave our dog home knowing he would be panicking. But equally we want others to enjoy the displays. π₯°
Don't think my dogs got the memo I don't work weekends.π€£π€¦ββοΈ
