Ok so it looks like someone didn’t appreciate my earlier post… wonder who..?! 🤔

Bullying is a real thing! Everybody’s mental health is of paramount importance.
So, when one individual has clearly been struggling mentally, and the bully is fully aware of the depth of the struggles, (including past consequences) rather than support this person, they then ramp up the pressure and get others on board too is sh*tty behavior to put it mildly…

We’re now closed for Christmas, back in the salon from Tuesday 7th January 2025 😊

It’s been so busy lately that I have not been keeping up with posts of recent grooms..! Pics are safe on my phone, so will be catching up after next Saturday, when we finish for a couple of weeks 👍

In the meantime, I had the pleasure of grooming 2 of my favourite dogs yesterday- Crumble (Wheaten Terrier), and Maple (Bassett fauve de Bretagne) who are friends and neighbours from a few doors up the road 🥰🥰🥰

It’s a very good job that my grooming table is *very very sturdy* - Loki the 85kg Tibetan Mastiff, Sydney brushing out his side/ butt-end, and then my adorable duffuss, Jarvis (Cockerpoo), decided to add his 15.5kg into the mix, as he *needed* urgent cuddles from Syd! 😂😂😂😂..!

A bit of a case of de ja vu this morning when the lovely Teddy came in for his groom!
He’s still a youngster but his behaviour on the table is great - I have groomed him from 16 weeks old, which really helps!
He’s basically in a very similar style to Jarvis, but his lovely owner prefers a bigger rounded head. We were working towards full flared legs for a while, but, Sara-Louise reached the same decision I had with Jarvis - such floofy legs are unmanageable - she has a crazy schedule with muddy walks, kids and horses… so opted for a more practical length 😎

Finally found time to smarten my own boy Jarvis up a bit..!
This included his first Emmipet ultrasonic teeth cleaning! His teeth are pretty good for a 4yr old pup, but a bit of plaque had started to build up a little on his canine teeth… so time to act!
Below are a couple of before and after groom pics, plus a before and after of one of his canine teeth 😎 good job done!

This lovely golden oldie is Miss Izzy aka Izz-Whizz, she’s diabetic and blind, but still loves her groom! Welfare grooms only at this point, to minimize the duration on the table, but pop her in the hammock for feet & legs and she’ll dangle quite happily for ages 😊😀

This gorgeous girl is Myrtle, a very sweet smoky- grey / white Border Collie… She spent about 10 mins in the crate whilst I finished my first dog… And she was adorable- but transfixed by the aircon unit above the crate - every time it blew down behind the crate she had the sweetest, puzzled head tilts! 😂🥰
