Did you know that most cases of Alabama Rot (CRGV - cutaneous and renal glomerular vasculopathy) happen between November and May? The exact cause is not yet known, but muddy dog walks in woodland areas are thought to be a factor. Take care to wash and dry your dog thoroughly after a wet and muddy winter walk, and you can also check if there's any known cases reported in your area, on the Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists website: alabama-rot.co.uk. ❗If your dog develops skin lesions or ulcers after a muddy walk, contact your vet immediately❗

With the help of Tom, we’ve spent the last week caring for these animals - alpacas, chicks, ducks, chickens, sheep, ponies, dogs, guinea pigs, cats, a hamster and horses!! Never a quiet moment, from alpacas causing chaos to cheeky kittens. Loved every minute 😄
