New customer Merlin before & after his lion cut (mane removed & trimmed face) 💙 Merlin’s coat was matted & is incredibly thick so it was difficult for his owner to tackle it grooming wise. He likes going outside so the wet weather hasn’t helped & his coat has soaked up the water like a sponge 💦🧽 He felt much better after all that matted hair was removed. He will be staying indoors for a little while & his owner has bought him a little jumper 🥰 Good boy Merlin 🐱

Timothie was certainly not the happiest cat when it came to grooming & his owners were struggling to even get a grooming tool near him 🫤… but I managed, mainly by wrapping his head in a towel 💪🏼😂

‼️🐱🕷️ FLEA REMINDER 🕷️🐱‼️

We’ve had quite a few cats in at the moment with fleas. This is just a quick reminder for all my customers to try check their cats for fleas before their appointments are booked if possible please 🙏🏼 I know this isn’t always easy or possible for the longer haired breeds or matted coats, as the fleas like to hide away & not everyone is confident in finding them 👀 You don’t necessarily have to find a flea, the first sign is ‘flea dirt’ aka- flea poo 💩 It may only look like little black sprinkles of sand or black pepper, but if you see this on your cat then they most definitely will have fleas!!

One of the cats we had in today was an indoor cat, you couldn’t see any sign of the fleas until the clipping started… so even if you have an indoor cat, please check them as well as best you can 🏠🐈‍⬛

It’s winter & it’s cold outside ❄️ We all like to put our heating on in the house… but unfortunately for us & our pets the fleas love the warmth & it’s an absolute breeding ground for them when this happens 🕷️♥️🕷️ So if your cat likes to sit by a radiator or a log burner, then be extra vigilant 🔥

If your cat does have fleas I shall inform you straight away & proof will be shown either by photo or video
There will be an extra charge of £5 for any cats found with fleas.

When certain areas get matted there’s no choice but to clip the area. Milo might have a bit of a bald t***y, but at least the matting is out & he will feel a lot more comfortable. This will grow back quick enough… just keep your t***y warm by the fire for now Milo 😂
