Years of history to this beautiful old farm building, if those walls could talk ! Sympathetically being restored to now have the benefits of modern living with the character still on show. Hand made traditional oak trusses now installed, original Yorkshire Roof stone re laid with modern breather membrane and original lime pointing externally 👌

Not sure of the exact date this was built but 1800s at a guess. Aprox 50ft and would have fed the locals for years and been an important part of the community. Somewhat a joy to see the care taken on the stonework and the fact that it’s still in such great condition, testament to the guys who built this. Looks like a farmer in 1900s didn’t need it and built his cow shed over it ! For us it’s right inline with the new foundations so the structural solution is to fill it with gabion stone which allows the water to still flow but means the ground around it is safe. We’ll then build a reinforced foundation to bridge across it and continue building 👌

Sunroom in local pitch face stonework. What’s nice about this project is that we first worked for this client over a decade ago. Whilst we’re proud of our workmanship, it’s also a pleasure looking after our clients 💙❤️
