I would like this sponsorship opportunity as i have been recently busy competing on my small collection of horses. I’m hoping to go through the levels learning each step of the way and hoping an advanced medium is not to do far away. A sponsorship opportunity would help me do this massively. I also work re training a small amount of ex racehorses and the entries would help me get them out doing dressage to.
Pettistree has just recently done the regional ROR championship at codham park and we finished second which qualifies us for the aintree nationals, we have also qualified to do the under 25s at Sheepgate. I also rode as part of the Bedfordshire county dressage team at the British dressage inter county’s.

It’s a very fond farewell to Twit today as he’s formally retiring from his role as yard hack to enjoy a more varied life in a fab home. He’s been such a legend for us & it feels like the end of an era - he arrived as a 2 year old c**t & created the role for himself nannying youngsters - thanks for all your hard work Twittering we are sad to see you go but so excited for you to enjoy winning rosettes with your new person!

Looking for their new best friends & next chapter.

16.1h(ish) 6yr old gelding - would suit a hacking / low level all rounder home. He’s a really nice chap, raced over hurdles and will hack out alone or in company. He’s straightforward and isn’t strong in the canter, he wants to please. Mannerly to handle, does weave if in 24/7 so would prefer somewhere with turnout.

15.2h(ish) 4yr old filly - will make a cracking all rounder / eventer. She is unraced & unnamed, injury free just not showing enough speed for our liking. Currently out hacking & starting her education in the arena. She’s very sweet and will need a confident, experienced rider to continue her education.

Both come with price tags and NRA’s, we are looking for forever homes not dealers or quick flips.

As the season has finished we have retiring horses looking for their new best friends and next chapter.

There is a small, varied selection but they will all have a price tag & will only go to knowledgeable 5 star places.

Over the past few months we have had some lovely enquiries for retiring horses but it’s hard to keep track of them all and so before we post more details, we would like to invite you to get back in touch if you are still looking.

If we can match up the perfect partners then we will! Please note we are looking for long term homes and will not consider dealers or someone looking to flip a horse in a few weeks to make a quick buck.

2024 Peter O'Sullevan Lambourn Open Day
CANCELLED
Following an exceptionally wet spring, with the springs rising at an unprecedented rate, and with no immediate improvement forecast, the Committee bitterly regret that they have no alternative but to cancel the event on next Good Friday, 29th March, due to either flooded or unusable car parks.

A full refund of all purchased tickets will be made. There is no need to apply
The refunds will take a while to sort out. Please be patient.

Flashy 15.1h(ish) Chestnut Filly. 4 years old and RoR eligible, available straight from training, injury free with clean legs & no vices.

Getting let down from her last race & will need a break, where she will likely grow on a bit. She was too slow for the flat & came to us for jumping but doesn’t have the stamina. She jumps like a bunny rabbit & happily pops chase fences so would make a nice allrounder.

She will need an experienced rider to retrain her, she hasn’t been with us very long so has more of a flat horse than our usual NH mentality. Hacks alone or in company but can be strong on the gallops & has not done any flat work. A flashy project for someone to put their stamp on over summer. 2️⃣🥕🥕🥕

Retiring 16h 7 year old mare - RoR Ridden Prospect/Potential Broodmare.

Pinky is ready to settle into a new place and start her ridden work in the spring - or available for this breeding season. She’s ready for a break in the field having completed box rest for a minor injury.

As a ridden prospect she will need an experienced rider to bring her back into work. She’s a very kind mare, can be a little hot when ridden - never nasty just jig-joggy so wants a quiet, confident rider. Hacks out alone or in company, seen traffic around Lambourn & has a scopey jump. She would suit a low level eventing or even team chasing home in our opinion.

We are heartbroken to have lost Rolling River at Catterick today, falling two out when running a cracker. Ted was a funny chap, named as he came to us as a small fluffy 3 year old, who went on to win a bumper. He was absolutely adored by Taylor who looked after him and rode him every day and who will miss him hugely. We are all devastated to have an empty stable tonight.
