Every year we find secure, loving new homes for thousands of animals in need. Today Wood Green finds secure, loving new homes for thousands of animals in need.

Wood Green, The Animals Charity was established in North London in 1924 to take in lost, injured and unwanted animals from the streets of London. As well as cats and dogs, we rehome many chickens, rabbits, mice, guinea pigs, goats, sheep, ferrets and more. We also promote responsible pet ownership by providing support, guidance and education to both new and existing pet owners.

Our vision is of a world where all pets are well cared for in loving homes for life. We take in animals of all shapes and sizes! As well as supporting and educating pet owners in our local community and further afield.
