Some of the walks and visits from a very warm week 🐾 all walks has been finished before 10:30am at the latest this week and some walks have been shortened a little to ensure all the doggies stay safe in the heat.

With the weather forecast looking to be hot again this week some walks may be cancelled, moved earlier, shortened or changed to visits this week. Here’s a reminder of some enrichment activities for your doggies to keep them mentally stimulated, if you would like any of these incorporated to your visits this week please do let me know 😊

🐶 Enrichment ideas:

With the weather staying warm for the next couple weeks walks will either be swapped to early and late walks or house visits.

One way to keep your your doggies occupied and mentally stimulated is to provide enrichment. Below is a few enrichment ideas for your doggies:

🐶 Frozen filled Kong
🦴 Frozen Lick mat
🐶 Kibble rolled up in towel and knotted
🦴 Scatter kibble in the garden
🐶 Puzzle feeders
🦴 Treats underneath tennis balls in muffin tin
🐶 Freeze either wet food or treats in water in silicon moulds or tubberware pots
🦴 Cardboard boxes either empty or treats hidden inside
