We are a beautiful privately owned livery yard in the heart of the Glen of Coachford, Aberdeenshire.

We currently have 2 stable spaces available for full/part or DIY livery 🤩

We are a small friendly yard with a variety of show jumps, cross country set up and miles of off road hacking and live on site so all horses are checked and cared for 24/7 we have lots of services to offer too please do feel free to message the page for any enquiries and we will be happy to help! ☺️

We are super excited to announce that in the coming months we will have a horse walker added to our yard 🤩
It will be a vital part of our yard for our clients, in those days where you just don’t have the time to exercise your horse or the weather is to rubbish to get out riding.
Ideal for rehabilitation and when your horse is coming off box rest.
There is many advantages to using a horse walker and will be a brilliant asset to our yard and to our clients 😁

Now the snow is starting to melt away why not help your fluffy friends shed those last few winter pounds by hiring our newly surfaced arena, fully equipped with a full new set of brightly coloured poly jumps 🤩even bring your instructor along for a lesson!
Or why not park your box up and go for a leisurely ride through the amazing miles of off road hacking we have to offer for £10 parking access for the full day!!

So today our workwear arrived! The quality is absolutely amazing! I can’t recommend
Cornish Equestrian & Bespoke Embroidery enough! Iv bought a couple things from them now and the services is brilliant and they get everything exactly how you want it!
So if your looking for any personalised equestrian clothing for yourself or your horse check theses guys out you won’t be disappointed! They also have some fantastic deals and bundles all at brilliant competitive prices 🤩 I will certainly going back again!

Morning well spent scrubbing all the automatic drink feeders in the fields and fixing the broken wooden slat fencing.
Just a couple more things to do and buy and we can officially open. May be slightly later than originally planned but we won’t everything to be just right for our clients.

So we’d like to say a huge shout out to Paterson Equestrian Arenas who did the refurbishments to the arena. From the very initial visit Philip was helpful and informative about the works that needed done.
We had found out that unfortunately the arena had been built wrong initially with the drainage and membranes being incorrect and not enough silica sand had been put down when first built which then also then became very compact!
Unfortunately without digging the foundations out this was unable to be fixed, but Philip discussed our options with us and we managed to work round those issues, 120ton of silica sand and re lay of rubber crumb and many days hard work later and we have a fully fit for purpose riding arena!
I can’t recommend Philip and his company enough, they are hard working (worked late into the night) and will do what best suited for that individual facility!
If your ever planning on getting an arena built or even refurbished contact these guys they won’t disappoint 👌🏼

So great news the arena is now complete 🤩 myself and the star of the show here Lilly happily tested it out to make sure it was just right for you all! It will take a few weeks to fully settle but great to have a proper surface on it again that is now fit for purpose! 😁 Getting closer to opening by the day 🤩

Fantastic progress today, we got the full 120ton of silica sand delivered as that’s still being laid as I write this, next steps are for the sand to be churned & loosened up then vibrate rolled, then to re lay the rubber crumb, that will then be levelled, vibrate rolled then graded! Then we will have the perfect surface 😁

So this morning the works have now finally started on the arena! Ready for the sand to arrive tomorrow, hopefully by the end of the week we will have a fully functional arena 🤞🏼😁

We hope that everyone is coping ok with all this cold and snowy weather! Here at Glenside Stables Livery we are still super busy getting everything organised, sadly with this weather our Arena works have had to be postponed until the snow passes 🤞 but that just means more time inside fine tuning the smaller details to make sure everything is perfect.
Great News now though as we have finally sorted our price list and is available on request for our livery packages and extras. please feel free to message or WhatsApp for your copy and we will be happy to answer any queries you may have.

So we’ve been busy at it removing all the rubber crumb surface ready for the 120ton of fresh silica sand to go in and the rubber crumb to go back on and all the works to start next week 😁 after inspection the arena was in need for a good service!
Just over half way now, It’s hard going work but we hope to have the arena in top shape ready for opening day! 🤩

Hey Guys, sorry we've been so quiet over the past couple days we've been super busy behind the scene's trying to make sure even the smallest of details are perfect, but as promised an update on our progress....
- We are currently in the process of sorting out all our insurances (we want to make sure every aspect is covered for your and our sake)

- We are in the process of submitting our application forms to hopefully become a BHS approved livery yard. 🤞
(so you can have the piece of mind your horse is well cared for here)

- and hopefully in the coming weeks getting our Arena fixed and appropriately surfaced ready for you and your horse to have plenty safe fun 🐴

I do also hope to have the contact number and WhatsApp up and running very soon
