Really disappointed that someone has let there dog(s) dig some big holes in the field again.

This happened either yesterday afternoon or today.

Please DO NOT ALLOW DOGS TO DIG IN THE FIELD.

Someone has let a dog(s) dig holes and sadly a grey hound has been injured today putting his leg in a hole.

Please make sure your dogs are supervised at all times to prevent damage to the field and other dogs.

We have put a dog paddling pool in the car park to help keep dogs cool in this warm weather. 🥵

We have put it in the car park rather than the field so that those that don’t want wet dogs don’t need to worry in the field.

If your dog wants a cool down please leave them on the lead and make sure they are supervised whilst in the pool. 💧

We have not put much water in and then we will change it each evening to keep in fresh.

Cooling a dogs feet down even for a few minutes will help lower body temperature.

We have plenty of water in the shelter to top up the drinking bowls. 💦
