It isn’t long before the those warm summer days are upon us and keeping your dogs cool, safe and happy is my biggest priority during the coming months.
All dogs are walked on a 1:1 basis meaning they receive my individual attention as well as minimal travel time.
In temperatures above 24 Degrees (or less depending on your dogs age, coat length or colour, body condition and breed) the following protocols will be implemented:
🌡️ Dog walks will be carried out in shaded woodland areas with access to cool rivers and no walking on pavements.
🥾 Duratuon of walks may be reduced and swapped the remaining time used for mental stimulation (training, scentwork, puzzle feeders),
🚪 Pop ins can be arranged where needed,
🚙 The car has blacked out windows, AC, cooling mats and fans for your dogs,
💦 Water is always available for your dog!
I am pet first aid trained and will always watch out for signs of dogs over heating and take the best course of action to keep them safe!
